    I'm a British author, now dividing my time between Andorra and Florida. I live with my husband and a rescued dog of indeterminate pedigree. I was brought up on the Isle of Wight, surrounded by historic buildings, so I guess I learned to appreciate history without even being aware that I was absorbing the vibes of bygone days.

    Having read the Ducal Encounters Series as well as Rochester
    investigates series, the suspense in this the first of a new series did not fail to disappoint me. In fact, it had my attention from the first page. If you enjoy an emotionally packed novel this is a must read.
