- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2023The town of Caerton has many changes Goodreads GROW through!
There will be wars, secrets, love and the loss of loved ones!
One shifter will finally find out where she came from!
She will meet her mate only for him taken by another tribe!
Blue Moon will change so much including their name many times!
Outcasts do find their way back in and some of them are not what they seem to be!
Will these characters continue on?
I sure do hope so!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2023I really wanted more from this series after reading the description. However, I found the main character ( a female lead) to have a terrible angsty, angry attitude. She seemed to whine a lot and fight against the pack about different ideas and actions.
At times the books were extremely slow and other times I was lost as the plot didn't seem to shift so much as it seemed to change completely.
Al this being said - I have read other things by this author and really liked them. So....maybe it's just me at this particular time reading this series. And, maybe, considering that I have liked other things by this author I need to re-visit this in the future. And if my opinion changes at that time I will amend the review.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020The story lines were good, the character work in each book were great and all the books had a fairly smooth flow to them. This was a great boxed set which kept me entertained from beginning to end.

Fate of the Blue Moon
Your name is Ariana.
You are a Banshay instructor and have won another competition and in the process meet Rhys, an instructor of another form of martial arts. Ariana likes Rhys and wishes to pursue a friendship with him.
Fortune does not favor this relationship as Ariana finds she is a shape shifter. She has much to learn in this new life and has little time for relationships. She is two weeks into her new life when everything falls apart.
This is a very good story that will continue in book two.
Ghosts of Winter
Book Two
The home of Blue Moon has been destroyed and four newly turned members are left to continue on. Their loss is terrible.
As a new pack they try to make sense of what happened and discover who is responsible. Things happen during the cold dark winter such as the funeral of the Blue Moon members and the addition of a patron, an elemental with the power of electricity named Unchained Lightning.
On the suggestion of others they change the name of the pack to The Lightning Lords.
There is also A problem with a demon known as the Plague Doctor and his minions - the rats.
A new pack member joins the group, Claws-of-Lead.
From the Ashes
A short story
This story gives an interesting background for Father Ash.
Demons of the Past
Book Three
Never a dull moment.
There are witches, demons, families broken apart, missing bodies, the packs starting to work together and unfortunately war is on the horizon.
The Storm Riders' Vigil
A short story
The very moving
story behind the death of Ariana's friend and fellow Beserker, Fire Talon, and his pack the Storm Riders.
Rise of the Furies
Book 4
This book is the best of the series. There is so much action. Really great and dreadful events take place. The end of this book is not what you would expect.
Dark Echoes
Short story.
This short story comes at the conclusion of the series. It is well written.
I personally could have done without it. I don't think it fits in this position.
Sadly, this book has come to an end.
I have read it twice and totally enjoyed it.
I would love to see a continuation of this story.
I received it as an advance reader's copy.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2023There is every type of paranormal entity imaginable, and some I never imagined, with so much non-stop action and subplots it will make your head spin. A little like Voldemort meets Lord of the Rings meets Metaverse. I’m glad I had the whole boxed set to read at one time. It saved me the reading time I would have wasted getting each one separately. My only regret is that it ended. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2020I loved this series it was so good! The author does an amazing job with her world-building and bringing the characters to life. You get pulled into this story that is filled with supernatural characters and an action-packed storyline filled with twists and turns that keep the reader turning page after page.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019This is a great series with plenty of action, adventure, danger, suspense, mystery, and romance to whet the appetite. I loved the storyline and the author did a phenomenal job building this world and all of the gifted characters. I like strong women characters and the author really delivered. Ariana Yates aka Stalker-of-Night’s-Shadow was great, a real bad ass with the fighting skills to back it up.
This was a truly amazing read where a new upcoming pack, the Lightning Lords, find themselves in many dangerous situations, most of which is due to their predecessors, that they continuously manage to get through accomplishing feats that many of the established packs were unable to achieve. Each book comes together for a grand finale, the big showdown that you do not won’t to miss. You should definitely read this series you won’t regret it. I received a free advanced copy and absolutely loved it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't get through this
I stopped at chapter 34 got so tired of hearing the ND whine and cry about losing her humanity and giving her pack grief about killing things when she killed the most she even killed one the pack wanted to capture. She even have the I hate you flare to her supposed friend because they were going to do something that would save the pack but she didn't like such a whiney b$%&.
