- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2019The calm blue waves on the cover of the book provide a good visual description for what the reader will feel when experiencing these poems. Before getting into the individual works, just the overall flow of the book itself was relaxing and well thought out. Many of the poems themselves experimented successfully with line flows and layout as well.
Overall visuals aside, these poems are eloquent, yet simple. Many are brief, but ooze power and confidence that leaves the reader feeling the words themselves in their souls. A couple had endings that surprised me, making me immediately re-read them with my new knowledge and see them in a whole new light.
Some seem sad, while others joyous, but they all are moving. This is certainly a book worth reading and going back to again and again. And always remember to “share the pen”.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2019Just read Silence that Echoes by Ms Ashmi Manish Sheth, and I have to say author has amazing talent. Her grammar is flawless. I saw no spelling mistakes. The poetry flowed like a river rather than a chain saw, and the gentle beauty of the poetry captures the readers hearts. It's truly is a beautiful collection of poems that have a simple message of healing and peace attached to each poem. You will find your anxious stressed out heart growing calmer with each Poem. The only problem I had with it was the formatting. The formatting switches between two to three short sentences per page to a full page making the book slightly longer than it needs to be. Other than that I found no faults with it. Definitely worth the read.
I give this book a 4 1/2 star rating as the author did a wonderful job of keeping the poems flowing from page to page as a river with no grammar or spelling mistakes that I could see. Truly a wonderful read. Great job Ashmi. :)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2019Words that touch deep if you can hear them. "And not all poetry helps you heal...Some open the deepest wounds of scars concealed. (Author's Astute Quote) A beautiful poetic account of choosing how to see all we find chaos in. In her dedications she shows the care for each and what she took from knowing them in her stanzas. The most prolific is her poem about art and the therapy in it's universal language. Thank you. This book of poems reaches out to those who are listening.
-To The Author- Your Reflections Speak Volumes
- Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2019Sheth’s work is a beautiful use of the English language in which ordinary words express profound emotions. This lyrical poetry is wonderful when read aloud as a gift to someone you love. If you choose to read it silently to yourself be prepared to return to your first love, remember your humanity and reclaim your compassion. This silence echos off the walls of your heart before penetrating your soul. Within ordinary pages, in common terms an extraordinary work of art.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019Wow... It is difficult to find words to describe the beauty of these poems! Ms. Sheth writes with a sweet and simple elegance that is, at the same time, deeply eloquent and sophisticated. I savored her beautifully turned phrases, which flowed effortlessly over, about, and through the reader like gentle caresses. Poetry lovers will not be disappointed! I recommend this precious offering unreservedly...a taste of Ms. Sheth's writing will leave you wanting more...

4.0 out of 5 stars Petals of Poetry.
From start-to-finish, there is a thread of peace, thought, and depth in the poet’s chosen vernacular. I preferred the beginning pieces of ‘Life,’ and ‘Love, Moon & Stars,’ though on every page there is verse worth reading.
