Trapped With his Temporary Daddy Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 710 ratings

When Joseph gets trapped with his father’s former coworker in one of the worst snowstorms of the year, he starts to wonder what ancient god he must’ve pissed off. After being kicked out of the house at eighteen and having to make his way on his own, the last thing he wants is to be stuck with the sexy older man.

Forest isn’t looking for a relationship, but when Joseph steps back into his life, grown up and hurting, he can’t walk away. Maybe it’s the Daddy Dom in him, but leaving Joseph confused and angry goes against everything he believes in. But getting Joseph to open up is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to helping him move on from the past.

When a boy is frustrated and confused, can a temporary Daddy step in and help, or will unexpected emotions steer things in a surprising new direction?

About The Secret Santa Daddy collection contains my stories from the first three seasons of the Secret Santa Daddy series. No additional material has been added. When a Christmas wish has a Secret Santa showing up to save the day, Brady knows he’s found the man, or possibly elf, of his dreams…until he can’t remember his Christmas savior.. When a boy is frustrated and confused, can a temporary Daddy step in and help, or will unexpected emotions steer things in a surprising direction? Panic or laugh? When Sidney opens his Secret Santa gift, he knows someone at work has figured out his biggest secret. Who IS his Secret Santa? When a rigged game of Secret Santa helps a little open his eyes, it’ll take mac-n-cheese and a little romance to bring a stubborn cutie out of his shell. When a Secret Santa brings presents and attention, a cutie might need a push to help him remember that the best gifts need a Daddy to play with.

M.A. Innes and Shaw Montgomery are two sides to the same squirrely author brain.

M.A Innes is the part of my imagination that leads to kinky and curious things like age play and puppy play.

Shaw Montgomery is the aspect that likes sweet BDSM but isn’t taboo in nature.

I absolutely love, love, love this author and have read all of their books multiple times. This one has more than the usual feels and is just as amazingly written as all the others. I love how every book is connected in some way and I'm really looking forward to these two characters reappearing in the author's incredible universe. If this is your first time reading Innes/Montgomery, I highly recommend diving into intertwined universes of Leashes & Lace, the University, and Bound & Controlled. There are a variety of kinks represented, but the loving, positive light that they are all portrayed in brings on all the feels but with a low angst plotline. You will have no regrets spending time in this author's world!

Joseph & Forest don't fall into the usual dad's friend trope. First, because Forest seemed to have always been more friend to a young Joseph than to his father. And second because the father really isn't a factor in their possibly getting together. This is more a childhood crush turns into so much more. Their past connection's depth didn't always feel... well developed? So we have to flatly accept that it was something genuine even though everything up to them saying it existed feels like two one time acquaintances in forced proximity. Regardless, the bond they form in the present is surprisingly rich. I would say that's do in large part to Forest; he is a unique combination of Daddy, Dom and the most insightful and understanding man you've ever met. So yeah, total fantasy but such a feel good read.

Joseph is finding his way, with Forest's gentle acceptance, toward the lifestyle and part of his sexuality he hasn't been able to explore. Their story is feel good with a very small touch of angst.

Though it may not go on my reread list, Forest is a character I won't forget. And Innes is a writer whose work IS a constant on my rereads so this is definitely worth the read.

This was a sweet romance between two people who had been acquaintances several years before, then accidentally meet at a mountain cabin in a snowstorm. It’s an interesting mix of Daddy Dom and D/S, and I enjoyed the different sides of their growing relationship. And I liked the peek into their everyday lives as the HEA! This one was definitely an awesome ever after!

I expect more. This seemed rushed and in someways too easy. There didn’t seem to be enough sparks.
Good plot, but could need a bit more depth I felt.

This is another well written, sweet book by M. A. Innes. I love the Daddy/boy, age play trope, and this was one of the best I’ve read. Joseph and Forest were well-rounded, substantive characters, with both men portrayed as functioning adults, coming together with a wonderful give and take. Forest was a great Daddy; never looking for reasons to humiliate or punish. All he really wanted was to make Joseph happy, whether he was Joey or Joseph. Joseph had been treated badly by his family, thrown out at 18, with no support. He had spent the last few years rebuilding his life, and was succeeding. This was not a rescue; this was a sweet love story with each man finding what they needed in the other. M. A. Innes never disappoints.

If you're new to age play but are interested in how it works, then this is the book for you.

Joseph is just discovering his little side and Forest is the perfect Daddy to show him the ropes. The older man is also the perfect Dom to take his sub higher and the perfect boyfriend to love him unconditionally.

Past trauma has Joseph struggling during his unexpected reunion Forest. Luckily for him, Forest has infinite patience and a fondness for the young man that hasn't ebbed in the years they've been out of touch.

The two MCs have a wonderful chemistry. Joseph is a smart ass with a big heart that's been broken and bruised. Forest is the silver fox with just as big a heart and he knows how to care for the one he's always considered his -- even if it was in a more innocent way all those years ago.

It's beautiful seeing these two men find their way back to each other and embrace who they truly are with a partner who understands them.

A sweet, slightly angsty, majorly sexy D/s romance.

Joseph (Joey) breaks your heart but Foster helps it heals it as he heals Joseph's. Foster is so wonderful to Joey and the way he lets Joey explore his Little side is just so sweet. I loved reading this book and being able to follow Daddy and Little Joey strengthen their relationship. It is sweet, sexy, Funny and full of feelings.

I took a star only because childlike subs don't really do it for me, just not a fan of the toys and childlike giggles..kind of silly,( I don't mind the cuddles, the taking care of the sub, and even feeding and dressing the sub)but pushing that part out of the way the storyline was good, and we'll written, and I liked that Forest, in the end, confronted Joseph's family.

    What a great story !!

This story develops in a short time period, it's almost like watching everything happening live .

One angry, exhausted, and very lonely young man finds himself stranded...
But he is only stranded with the man that has been his biggest fantasy, ever !
Boy oh boy, how is he supposed to survive the two weeks without having a complete melt down ?
    Ignore, ignore, ignore ....

Forest is a mature, well travelled man of the world.
Being a doctor with a charity has taken him to lot's of places, and lot's of conditions.
He prides himself in his ability to read people and understand them.
However, when he is faced with the frustrated young man he does not like it one bit.

Forest remembers Joseph from his youth, they used to be friends, or so he thought.
He doesn't understand why the young man is so cold.
Why does he keep escaping to his room ? They are stranded together , they should try to talk.

Forest is a Daddy Dom, his instinct is to try and help this cute boy.
Joseph has secrets, he would die if Forest ever found out about what's in his head.

Forest just wants to hold Joseph, to show him that he really cares, but how would he react?
Joseph really, really wants to cuddle into his lap and cling to him, but how would he react?

This is such a precious story,
l have loved every step by cautious step these two took around each other.
The story developed beautifully , and slowly, l almost felt like l was there watching them.
    l want more...

Aww this story is so cute and adorable.
Joseph makes the cutest little, I absolutely adored him.
Forest is such a caring and indulgent Daddy and sounds like he gives the best cuddles.
I really hope we get a book where Joseph meets Cody, that story would be awesome.

MA Innes is an automatic buy for me. There is just something about their characters that make every book amazing. Snow Regrets is no exception to this.

Joseph is so sweet and unsure of things (and we get a look at why when we hear his back story). Despite his unsureness he’s also really strong. Forest is a true Daddy and I loved how he helped Joseph discover himself.

The two men just worked wonderfully together and I loved Joseph coming truly into his own. The storyline works fantastically in with the series while having the magic touch of MA Innes. The wonderfully believable characters had me anxious to get to the end of their story. I loved the cameo from a certain other MA Innes series (and who else could it be!!!) and I would love to see more of Joseph and Forest as their relationship progresses.
