- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2019Like most reviewers I absolutely hated both Adam and Jason right off the bat, both of them having issues that they took out on each other and on many of their acquaintances. I didn't think they would be able to go from enemies to frenemies, let alone boyfriends, in the space this novella allowed.
However, Jocelynn Drake turned the trick and made this a tour de force of emotions, scorching heat and honesty in a way I found totally believable.
Staying with the bounds of Cincinnati where her Unbreakable Bonds and Ward's Security series are also set, she wraps us in that somewhat schizophrenic city's arms and takes Adam and Jason along for a sweet and loving ride.
To me the mark of a really good read is that a book reveals itself logically as it goes on and in this case Ms. Drake does it lovingly, and with a light touch that leaves whatever angst that comes along floating away like snowflakes in a gentle breeze.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2018I just love the enemies to lovers trope, and Jocelyn Drake did a great job here. This was a wonderful premise and worked extremely well here. Both of the main characters were believable and they came together realistically.
Although a novella, my only complaint was that it felt rushed. There was a lot going on here and could have truly been a full-length book. Nevertheless, the novella was very enjoyable to read. Two co-workers forced to work together, both have different styles and reasons for being there. I liked how they were able to talk through their differences, including assumptions that were just untrue. Even thought it really isn't needed, I recommend reading the first two just because these characters make an appearance in this book and it will totally add to the experience.
This read is light, funny and steamy! Oh, and I wanted more Boo and Ninja! LOL. I recommend this novella if you want a feel good, holiday themed story that is well written and a wonderful escape during this holiday season.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2018I am invested in several of Ms Drake's series. These Christmas stories are softer, gentler, and sweeter for the season. This one was a little 'looser' in personal details then the first two in the series. But, I feel it worked with the deadline the characters were under and the fact that, while we just met them - they have known each other for a year. I enjoyed not seeing all the angst and conflict that was referenced as having happened. Or being swamped with the small details.
In Ms Drake's blog she mentions this was supposed to be the last of the series, but.... I really hope Jack is the but... :-) he would deserve it.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2019A very fun and hot little Christmas romance. The characters were endearing and their relationship was sweet. I would recommend this to the holiday sap like me that loves a good Christmas story romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2019I struggled with how to rate this book- the rating seemed a bit low considering I enjoyed the book a lot while reading it, but this isn’t one I’ll read again so 3.0-3.5 stars it is.
Much like the first book in this series, this is an instalove story, but with an enemies to lovers twist. Once again, there is some obstacle holding one character back from giving a relationship a try. But unlike the first book, I didn’t feel the connection between the characters- I felt like those two guys really saw and accepted each other. In this book, they quickly go from professional dislike to caring about each other and while it’s sexy and cute, it felt a bit too rushed. I liked it much more than the second book, but not as much as the first. Overall, I’m enjoying this series of holiday novellas and will be starting the final book tomorrow.

Jason and Adam have worked together for over a year. One in marketing the other in graphic designs. When the company is looking to launch a new campaign the two are paired together. The problem is neither of them like each other very much. However, they have to put aside their differences and bring their A game for the new campaign and a $25,000 bonus that they could both use.
Overall, I like it. It was an angst free, enemies to lovers, Christmassy romance that was super sweet.

5.0 out of 5 stars My dose of happy Winter and Christmas reading 2018/19 #10
Pretty sure everyone of us has had such a „special“ work collegue, when a dental root treatment sounded more appealing than working with that person. Here this is how grafic designer Adam feels, when he is paired with marketing wonder Jason for an firm image campaign. The team who comes up with the best project, wins a breathtaking bonus. So first it is the outlook on so much money that makes the two men grit their teeth. But it wouldn't be a true Jocelynn Drake Christmas story if there wouldn't be more!
It took me a little to warm up to Adam and Jason in the beginning. First I found their reactions and dialoges a bit childish and unprofessional despite their high repuations at the firm. But then I found it sweet how both men start out grudingly and then truely see each other not only as co-workers but as persons, and more. Of course they won an extra bonus from me for being cat lovers, I have to confess. Also I found myself really wanting to read more about Jason's family and how the situation for Adam's brother unfolds after the divorce from his calculating homophobic wife. Guess, enough material for another novella *grin *
Reading a Jocelynn Drake's Christmas novella at the end of my reading year has already become a dear tradition to me, ever since her „Walking on Thin Ice“ had been published in 2016, which I absolutely love! Each story can be read indepentantly, although Roland-Wainwright Enterprises connects them all in some way. Of course I highly recommend all 3 books. They all have what I love most of a Christmas Romance, likeable MC s and a HEA ending that makes me smile!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet ending to a Christmas series
I love Christmas stories and Jocelynn Drake is one of my favourite authors. I discovered Jocelynn’s Ice and Snow series last year and I read the first two books then. Each can stand alone quite easily.
Snowballs Chance is a lovely feel good story about Adam (who we have met before) and Jason, who are thrown together to work on a marketing team. I love that their romance develops through some realistic doubts. It wouldn’t be Jocelynn without some drama though, and I also liked the way pervasive silent homophobia is shown, and dealt with. I love the cameo appearance from the guys in the other two books as well. Apart from a few serious moments this is a straightforward contemporary Christmas romance. Loved it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Enjoyable
Another Christmas but in the Ice and Snow series. This time, an enemies to lovers with cameo appearances from previous characters.
