I absolutely adored Libby and Matt's story. A sweet tale of coming into your own and being true to yourself. Fantastic read! This author doesn't disappoint. I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Libby is 17 years old and is unable to live the typical life of a teenager due to her chronic illness. As a result she keeps to herself and doesn’t let many people close and now she needs to adjust to living with her father rather than her mother.

Matt is her new neighbor and he is 18. He is a typical teenager but has always felt a bit like an outsider looking in. From the moment he meets Libby he wants to know everything about her and sees that she is special.

As they start to spend time together they develop a deep friendship and in each other find someone who accepts and appreciates who they really are, warts and all. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Libby is very ill and leads a sheltered life, and when her mom has to travel for work, she goes to stay with her dad. Matt lives next door to her dad, and from the beginning they are drawn to each other. This is a good story which is an emotional roller coaster throughout, and is about friendship, trusting, and love. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.
