The planet Entori
In the Free Kingdoms on the planet Entori, the royals are desperate to defend themselves and their kingdoms against the aggressive Taran Empire. A full attack from The Tarans would leave The Free Kingdoms chanceless, unless they can find the legendary city of Anzoria, which is said to contain a weapon of immense power.
Milky Way galaxy
In the milky way galaxy, the ruthless corporation Aterion Industries and their plans for domination are only held back by the Intergalactic Trade Council. The council was formed as an alliance between multiple governments and authorities to keep companies like Aterion Industries from gaining too much power, and they have succeeded at keeping them in check for some time. But when a previously unknown alien race starts attacking the human worlds; Aterion might be the only ones with a military power strong enough to counter the alien threat.
The Source of Power trilogy is a fast paced space opera where heroes and villains are given equal attention. It is an epic adventure in a universe where the line between magic and technology has been blurred.

When reading a book, watching a movie or playing a game, I want to feel like I am part of that world and be engaged with the happenings of the world (or worlds). I also find that you need to have a connection with the characters and their cause. Whether you love them or hate them, you should feel something for them.

A Colorful, Engaging, & Fast-Paced Space Opera!
Overview: When a previously unknown alien race starts attacking the human worlds, Aterion, a ruthless corporation bent on intergalactic domination, might be the only military power strong enough to counter the alien threat. In “Spark of Imagination”, Author Tony Lindblom has created an inter-galactic universe filled with action, adventure, and living world’s beyond imagination. The constructs of his planetary societies are well thought out and his plotline is quite believable. Colorful and engaging characters populate this fast-paced Sci-Fi space opera, and readers will find it easy to relate to the ideas and issues that drive them toward their individual goals. Both heroes and villains are given equal consideration, presenting a story that is both understandable and enjoyable while both the tension and urgency of their individual missions serve well to drive this epic forward. Lindblom’s story does successfully captures the imagination, however, the author’s writing skills are a bit rough. Readers will experience difficulty and confusion in two main areas; adjusting to the random switches between past and present tense, along with a number of grammatical modifications that the author has employed in this read. Without reason or warning, Lindblom often fluctuates between past-tense and present-tense in his chapter narratives. A highly unconventional writing-style is also utilized whereby each sentence of a character’s dialogue is irregularly segmented and spaced out on individual lines instead of adhering to the more traditional writing methodology of compacting verbiage into complete paragraphs. Ultimately, there exists no direct indication of who’s doing the talking, or which character is saying what, causing a certain amount of unclarity and confusion for the reader. Additionally, characters’ self-thoughts are incorrectly indicated by a nearly imperceptible change in quotation marks with the author using apostrophes to encapsulate a phrase, rather than the more customary and universal writing method of employing italics. I’ve rated this read accordingly and suggest to the author that this work would have greatly benefited from the services of a professional editor. For those unbothered by grammatical issues, “Spark of Imagination” is a fast ride into the unknown. The story itself will take you on a fascinating adventure with characters you may never forget. With graphic violence, adult situations, and harsh language appropriate to a young adult read, I recommend this novel for ages 17 and up.

The author seriously needs an editor to improve and correct the grammar issues. That’s just about the only thing holding this book back and maybe deterring readers from the rest of the series. Otherwise the author spins a very interesting tale that keeps a reader engaged and wanting to know more. It is the first of the series and takes its time to develop the characters and build the arc of the plot. Sometimes I felt that there were too many characters, but I imagine they will each shine in their own way in the rest of the series.

This is a very unusual book. It is the first entry in a trilogy, and it is introductory-priced at 99 cents. It’s very ambitious, and yet it’s also super chill. It’s a novel, but to me, it seems like it has the opportunity to be something else too. I’ll tell you the unconventional idea I was struck with at the end of this review. It’s an idea you might get a kick out of.
This Novel follows the story of an Earth man – who gets whisked away to another world, and into the center of Galactic upheaval. Most of the plot elements in the book seem to point at events that will expand in upcoming books, and it’s an ambitious weave: you have an Earthman who may be more important than he knows. You have an elven space people who are tied to a meta power which is housed in crystal shards. The shards form the basis for a tech that borders on magic. Everyone who knows about this tech wants it, and so we have several kingdoms set against each other, each thinking that the “source of power” will be the answer that will carry them to victory. In “Spark of Imagination” we find a wide array of genre factors woven into a single story that offers space battles, sword wielding hordes attacking towns, Dragons as weapons of mass destruction – unexpected meta powers in unsuspecting characters – priestesses attached to an old god who is possibly awakening again (and is driving some of his devotees to madness), and we find oppressors who dream of altruistic peace. We also meet races of people who are surprised to find out about Earth, and even more surprised to note how many similarities they have to earth-people.
The book features all these ideas, but is only mid-sized. Lindblom is able to fit so much in, because the book is mostly dialogue, and it is so friendly, it seems remarkable. The characters are so chill with each other, and so amiable, it makes for and easy-going and fast read. You stop every few moments to say “That’s a cool idea,” and then you get back to spending time with the characters. Lindblom sends these folks across the universe, but they still have time for family squabbles, flirting, hook-ups, beer, pizza, and rollercoasters – well, rollercoaster discussions anyway. Some of the characters fall in love. Some of them DON’T fall in love, but enjoy flirting anyway. The book is a fun and easy read.
Now here’s the weird idea I mentioned before. It strikes me that if you had a handful of friends, you could have a great time assigning parts and reading this book like a play. You would only need about ten people. A whole lot less if you doubled up the roles. Throw in that aforementioned beer and pizza, and you could have a really great time. Lindblom keeps things lively, and the concepts are big enough that just saying them out loud would make you say “WOW”. There are also a lot of fun flirting scenes, which could add some kick to the experiment – just make sure there are some friends in your group that you’d LIKE to flirt with. It seems you could have a great time while you get ready for the other two books! Have fun!
Mr Lindblom has designed the covers for these books, and he also has wonderful concept sketches of the characters and gear.

I had to stop reading after the first chapter. Lack of basic punctuation like indenting paragraphs, unenticing language, and just really difficult to continue with. Elementary school level language and grammar. If you are looking for something to lose yourself in for a while, look elsewhere. This is not the story you are looking for.
