Spin Me Round Book 3 (Spin Me Series) Kindle Edition
Garnet Delaware is one of LA’s best DJs, although her fight to the top has been far from easy. Life was tough after leaving home at sixteen, but she’s shed sweat and tears to earn the respect of the music industry and is now content in the arms of her girlfriend, Lena. When Garnet is offered the opportunity of a lifetime —performing at music festivals around the country in her breakout tour— she can’t wait to take the next step. However, she’s not looking forward to leaving Lena behind, even if the separation is only temporary.
NFL bad boy Wesley Black has disgraced himself, throwing away his football career. Now he is determined to get back on track to prove he has his life under control. And despite the fact that his dreams have been flushed down the toilet, he wants to redeem himself by helping Garnet achieve hers. But his desire for Garnet grows, so when the tour that he is managing ends, Wes isn’t ready to let her slip away so easily.
Plans are not always set in stone. An unexpected turn almost ruins Garnet’s career, and the person she most despises wants to help her find her way back. Turns out, the truth has a way of unlocking secrets that can either make Garnet stronger or destroy everything she’s worked so hard to build.

Fans of scorching hot erotica are not going to want miss Spin Me Round, a LGBT series about a hot up-and-coming DJ torn between her female lover and a male promoter with a shady past.
What I Loved: To say Spin Me Round is hot would be an understatement. These books had my blood pumping and blushing to the point my husband kept asking me "What are you reading?" Leads Wes and Garnet are gritty, real, and possess an energy that helps them jump off the page. I adored the message that the gender of who you love doesn't matter, it's the soul of the person you love that does.
What I Didn't Love: There's a clear history between Garnet and Wes and each book hints at it. I need a little more insight. The story is building on their relationship in the present but a couple of flashbacks to the past could have helped the build.
Favorite Quotes:
Book 1 - "His gaze drills into me. What I see behind his eyes is startling - a look I struggle to make sense of, but it's full of intent, desire, and control. The latter has me taking a step back... only a small step... because I don't like to back down."
Book 2 - "She has no idea how... unbelievably talented she is. And I'm going to help her tap that talent and reach her potential to be the star she deserves. Like a man possessed, I'm on a mission to help her succeed. Driven. Determined. Devoted."
Book 3 - "Whether you're with a girl or a guy, your heart will know love because of who that person is inside, not because they're a certain sex. You respect them for who they are, not what they are. We're all the same, baby. Black or white, gay or straight. It doesn't matter."
The Spin Me Round books are addictive, once I finished one I was ready to jump into the next. I need to see more of these characters and I highly recommend giving the Spin Me Round series a chance.
Happy reading.

The saga continues with Garnett and Wes finally breaking the barrier of friendship in Spin Me Round, Book 3 by Elle Carmichael. Predictability does not come in to play during this emotional jaunt down memory lane with the sharing of childhood pasts between our hero and heroine. They both came out of their adolescent years scarred and troubled due to their parental units. As the tour ends, a friendship emerges. Only things are not as they seem. Lena confronts Gar about her relationship with Wes and ends their three year liaison. What happens next is astonishing and surprising. To find out you will have to get the book and read it.
Again, Elle knows how to leave her readers demanding more.

I decided to review these as a set rather than individually. This is mostly because they are a set. You couldn't read one without reading the others.
The books center around Garnet, a famous female DJ. One of La's best actually, and shes had to fight hard to get there. Garnet is a lesbian and her girlfriend is Lena, she sadly has to leave Lena behind in LA while she tours the country.
Wesley destroyed his football career and now has to work in the music industry. We find out why later. He is completely blown away by Garnet and decides that he must have her, he needs her. always has actually...........
The torment that Garnet goes through in the three books, does she love Lena? Does she love Wesley? Is she gay? Is she not? Just what does she want, or rather who?
Each of these books is very short. It took me about an hour to devour all three of them in one go. I really don't get short stories, why not make them one book? It confuses me. But this doesn't distract from the fact this is a really good series. I have never read any books with F/F action in them and had I known this was in these books I probably wouldn't have agreed to read them. But I'm glad I didn't and that I did read them. In future I'll look at books with a more open mind.
All in all a nice little short series, one that I imagine I may well dive back into if I ever need a fast read.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2015I would say part three concludes the story of Garnet Delaware but I can't help feeling that there will be another part for it. The way it ended suggests to another part to this story and I sure hope there is. Everything gets revealed in part three, with what happened in the previous parts to this unique story. It was a steady pace and was filled to the brim with excitement, heartache and sadness. I love Elle Carmichael's writing and look forward to more from her in the future.
Aimed at audiences of 18+ with sexual content not suitable for younger readers.

After finishing up part two of this serial I NEEDED three. The problem? I didn't have it yet. So, I waited. And waited. Then it finally landed on my Kindle and I literally dropped everything I was doing and read it - Flipping pages as fast as I could. Then I got to the end. Only, it couldn't be the end because... just no. So I kept flipping but the pages wouldn't turn anymore. This was sooo good and I cannot wait to see what happens next!!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2015Part 3 continues as the tour ends and Garnet is going back home to Lena and Wes is trying to stay friends with Garnet. I love reading the scenes between Wes and Garnet, he really is trying to be a good guy for her. I'm excited to read part 4 and find out what Garnet decides to do. The sex is hot as always and I don't want to give anything away but I hope karma comes back to get a certain someone. I'm sure when you read it you will figure out what I'm talking about. I need more Garnet and Wes!!!
