Submitting to the Doctor (Cowboy Doms Book 7) Kindle Edition
The last thing Doctor Mitchell Hoffstetter wanted was to put up a stranded motorist at his cabin, but seeing the bruises marring Lillian’s face stifles his irritation. He couldn’t help offering comfort when her grief kept her awake, and for all her sass and independence, she succumbed to his commands and touch without pause. They went their separate ways the next day unable to forget that one hour.
Mitchell soon discovers Lillian is living in the motel in town. He offers his garage apartment which leads to another opportunity to show she wasn’t as opposed to his dominance as she claimed. Lillian discovers a side of her she couldn’t control whenever Mitchell leveled one of those potent gazes her way and showed her ways of pleasure she never imagined she would embrace.
It takes a threat to Lillian’s life for Mitchell to admit his sassy, independent tenant and lover had found a way through his grief to his heart, but had they both waited too long to express their feelings or would he and their friends ride to her rescue in time for them to start over together?
This is book seven in the Cowboy Doms series but can be enjoyed independently.

About the author

Author of sizzling hot romance with a touch of suspense. Long and Short Reviews erotic romance of the month winner for Hannah and the Dom Next Door and gold star recipient for Amy's Redemption. I live in the Midwest with my husband, love dogs and enjoy reading and working puzzles. We have traveled extensively throughout the states, Canada and just once overseas, but I now much prefer being homebody. My favorite genre to read is suspense.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWoW, I am an Irish twin so I get and understand how you take care of your sister like Lillian did in this book. She put up with horrible abuse to make sure her sister has the care she needed but as soon as she is laid to rest she is out of the house. Or tried to be. Brad had other ideas. Lillian drives as far as she is mentally able and ends up crashing outside of Doc's cabin in the woods. LOL in the snow at that. This book has some issues but as a whole, it is a really good read. I am sad this series is now over.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe story line was Awesome! The characters were Excellent! This book was the perfect ending to this series! I just hope Brad got what he deserved and his god complex got cut off at his knees and sharing a cell with a mean bastard who is foot loose and fancy free with his Fist!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWell, this one pulled at the heart strings. Both Mitchell and Lillian suffering from loss. Those are rough to come to terms with. Now the twist of a delusional brother trying to protect his lying abusive little brother, that was different. I loved how everyone came riding to the rescue. Awesome scene. Satisfying ending.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI have enjoy most of this series, this one i give a 5 star to. Not alot of description on the abuse Lillian received and no editing errors that popped out.
Good story and i love that she brings the past characters into the story with each book.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI'm super into this series and really love Mitchell. That said, there are some errors, the most glaring being that the protagonist is misnamed multiple times in Chapter 12. So it really pulls you out of the story :/, otherwise though, I really have loved this whole series. I'm only sorry there isn't more to read <3
- Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseUsually I like all of BJ Wane's books but this one is an exception. Overall I did not exactly care for the storyline about an abused woman. It's just probably this time period of Covid-19 and I don't want to read any depressing stories. I want to escape from sheltering with a witty good romance.
On top of that in Chapter 12, there is a glaring mistake that continues over quite a few pages. It's confusing as it jerks the reader out of the story so abruptly. This isn't an Amazon digital conversion mistake. This mix up of characters is purely the writer's mistake.
Submitting to the Doctor has a huge error that takes the reader out of the story with a jerk and pretty much ruins a lot that happens after that. Evidently, if anyone proofread this book, it was badly done.
Chapter 12
When Kurt, Leslie, Mitchell, and Lillian get ready to mount their horses. Lillian watches Kurt boost Leslie, his fiance upon her horse. The next line is "You're up with me, Leslie, and Mitchell leans down grabs her hand and pulls her up in front of him. He settles his arm around her waist. Kurt turns and gives Mitchel a wicked grin - they chat about the horse. Leslie grips his forearm afraid to look down. Mitchell pulls her back against his chest.
Evidently, they left Lillian behind at the barn as there is no mention of her!
Kurt talks about the ranch and presto changeo Leslie is now Lillian on the next page....not for long. though...Kurt encourages Mitchell to show Leslie the falls and he rides off to the west pasture leaving Mitchell to seduce his fiance. All of a sudden Leslie must have decided she liked her fiance better, as she pops over to her own horse, {who materializes right there) and she gallops after Kurt. Finally, Mitchell notices that Lillian has magically appeared on board with him on Phantom. Good thing Lillian decided to show up, as Mitchell was about to seduce Kurts fiance.
After all that it was all downhill from there and I quit caring about them. Mitchell and Leslie's characters were just flat so it really didn't help when the writing ran amock. In the end this book would be a good one to skip.
UPDATE: If you read the comment below it is from the author B.J. Wane stating that this error is going to be revised and sent out to anyone that purchased the book. This is good news!

5.0 out of 5 stars Doc's Snow Bunny
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is an interesting story about lost loved ones and learning to love after abuse. I am not certain what was less for me but this book seemed less than the other stories in the series. I liked it but maybe its because you know it's the last book in the series and so you won't get an update to their story like all the others. This story visits alot of the previous characters stories. I like Lillian she is a bit strong... I do wish she had opened up about being coerced into sex... To me that seemed a big issue that just disappeared...it messed up the snowball fight for sure. I hope BJ Wane does some more cowboys or maybe a Kentucky horse farm...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseEnjoyable read involving a headstrong woman and a Dom. Both have been bereaved and Lilian abused and the story makes for a good read. Some editing issues but overall good read.
