    I've read a lot of omegaverse and this may be my favorite one. It's new and fresh and the characters are so much fun. There's so much of the same in this genre that a new, fresh look is so freeing.
    while there haven't been any babies yet the promise of some in the future has me excited. I think that some characters will thrive when they have a baby to take care of as well as a partner, but it's not a requirement for me. What is a requirement is these guys getting their HEAs. They're all strong, opinionated men and they know what they want. Watching them go out and get it is going to be so exciting.
    Tanner is just the first in this new series and I loved it. I am so looking forward to see not only Tanner and Shane again, but to see each omega get his love story.

Tanner is the first book in a new series about a group of omegas trying to overcome the "equality" society forced on all of the omega population. They just want to find their dominant sexy Alpha. I was so excited to read about this new world Ms Shaw created and was not disappointed. Tanner with his sassy smile and Shane with his caring/nurturing Alpha personality are perfect together. And boy are they HOT! I wish I could do this book justice in this review but I know I'm failing it. Just know this book is funny, hot, sweet, and full of love.     I can’t believe I’m not head over heels in love with a Shaw book, but there it is. The writing is as awesome as ever, but the world is so...backwards that I think even the author knows this and has to keep cramming the world down the readers throats to make things believable. I also didn’t think the characters were well developed, which is so weird for this author that I’m calling it a fluke and an unfortunate side effect of the forced world building. The premise of a world where Omegas are treated as “equals” but can’t go to a sex shop without a spouse seems like even the author is confused about the world building. I hate leaving a bad review but this series is going to take some majorly careful writing to pull it up to standards. I’m skipping the next book because Austin is not fun to me, but the other friends mostly sound interesting, and hopefully by then the world building will be straightened out.

    This is a cute, sweet, low-angst, slightly different omega-verse series. The alphas and activities are "hawt" while the omegas are successful and quite entertaining. I read all 6 books, plus the prequel and a short story, in about one week. The stories are fun with only a few proofreading errors. My only real complaint is the constant use of the word "insane," especially in the first few books. Everyone is "insane" with Austin leading the pack. These omegas know what they want/need and will do whatever has to be done to get it.

    Sounds like a few of the side characters get their stories told in a related series: Love and Secrets. I really liked these guys, so I'm looking forward to reading about them.

    It’s no secret that I love Shaw. I tend to read anything she writes usually the day it’s released if not the weekend it is. I was hesitant at first when I saw she was writing an omegaverse story. Usually, they tend to be either porn with very little plot or too angsty for my taste. I shouldn’t have doubted her. She managed to flip the usual omega stories by making it about omegas who are not “oppressed” (by society’s standards anyway) and made this concept her own. I loved all the characters in this story. The get-together timeframe of the 2 main characters was realistic and well paced. The sex scenes were very hot but added to the story instead of being the focus. Overall it was just another fabulous book by a great author and I cannot wait for the rest of the series.

    So first of all - I love Shaw Montgomery’s writing. Without a doubt one of my favourite authors. So learning an A/b/o series was on the way brought me much excitement. And boy is it A/b/o with a twist done right!

    Tanner is CEO of a huge company, as on the ball as an Omega can be. Only...he has needs other than what society says an Omega should have. Society says Omegas shouldn’t submit to an Alpha and they shouldn’t want to be knotted (that’s just for baby making). Tanner wants all of this and more. Shane is Tanner’s assistant. He’s attracted to Tanner...but how will he react when Tanner’s needs are revealed???

    Tanner is adorable; I love how confident and well prepared he is when it comes to business, but that only his closest friends know what he craves. Shane, although not coming across at first, is such a hot Alpha - he comes right into his place. Tanner’s group of friends is amazing - I can’t wait to get all their stories (especially Austin, who is hilarious and reminded me of a mix of Kevin and Cooper - in all the best ways). Tanner’s dad is off the wall, and Shane’s family seem great (his brother Simon is hilarious too).

    This will be another added to my reread list - as is every single one of Shaw’s books.

Fun, rather light on the bdsm I have high hopes for this series about a group of friends who decide to open a bdsm club. The new idea is that this is after omega rights have been fought for and won. In this book no one can conceive that an omega might want to submit. Especially a strong omega like Tanner, a rich CEO of his own company. Or that the one he wants to submit to is his admin Shane. But he does and you will definitely have fun reading about them. Now how can we get Shaw to write faster?

    Imagine the bastard child of Victorian era and a modern age of fully accomplished equal rights between alphas and omegas with emphasis on the respect and recognition omegas were dued to, especially by alphas, in any circumstance.
    While during the Victorian era "the emphasis on morality gave impetus to social reform but also placed restrictions on the liberty of certain groups" the adding of modern political correctness to "carefully avoid forms of ... action that are perceived to ... insult groups of people who are (or, as in the case of omegas "used to be") socially disadvanteged or discriminated against" resulted in society norms of conduct and education that give omegas autonomy in most areas of existence on the one hand, on the other supressing their insticts and sexual proclivities to the point of considering them illegal.
    In this unballanced environment, a group of good friends - all wealthy omegas - are struggling to find the right "partners in crime": the alphas able and willing to take their omega side in hand and giving it the sexual domination it is craving for.
    Tanner is the first to get lucky 😏 His story is low angst, pretty hot for kink lovers and pleasantly sweet for romance lovers.
    But the boys have more and bigger plans.
    A promising series start.
