- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2020I love cultivation novels, but it's such a pain to find ones with modern/future tech levels. This book is pretty good. My only gripe is how short it is. Feels like a half length book and because of that the story progresses at rocket speed. Powers fall from the sky and abilities improve instantly. Still fun, but feels a little hyperactive.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2020The story was consistent with a ton of room to grow. Not too many typo's. A little short for my taste. But a great LITRPG like read non the less. I was hoping the next one would be out by now. .... Still waiting.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2019The only RPG elements are the status screen the main character (MC) sees when he increases his stats, and the combat art descriptions. The story leans much more heavily towards cultivation or Wuxia with the MC training, taking special foods and potions to increase his power. Though he's blessed with a special potential that let's him grow stronger than everyone else. The story itself is slice of life with the MC fighting a few monsters, training, dungeon diving, dealing with family rivals, and rescuing a girl. It’s a decent story, not boring, but while I liked a couple of the progression mechanics, especially the Nightmare Sword Art training, on the whole it didn’t really appeal to me but may appeal to a cultivation/Wuxia reader more.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2019I would rate this 5 stars if it had less errors. I really enjoyed the read. There are a few places where 'she' and 'he' are mixed up. Also some paragraphs seem to be missing the last word and punctuation. Great story though.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2020What a marriage. Love it. Can't wait to see what happens next. Love the characters and how the book started.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019The background story and the storyline is quite excellent though the over all storytelling comes across a bit wooden. It’s a bit lacking in emotional content more like reading a history novel told from a third person point of view. Though this did not stop me from enjoying the story and I look forward to the next novel in the series.

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm guessing this is a poor translation...
Terrible. Grammar so bad, it was frequently difficult to decipher what the author was trying to say. Can't speak to the plot, because I honestly don't think I got a clear idea of what they were trying to say at numerous points.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good
The best book this author had written so far. A good mix of future tec and cultivation. While what I would call still based in a future that could happen. If God like people exist. Hopefully 3 to 5 books before he's the strongest ever on earth. With this book gone from my top 30/40 writer's to top top 5/10. Only read sci-fi fantasy ect so lot writer's not covered. But been reading since 13/14 years old. Now 45. Oops would sujust 12 years up. As little dark and violence. Near the end

4.0 out of 5 stars Ruined the chronicles of Wu ji
Nice story, I enjoyed it but the very start of it completely ruins the chronicles of Wu ji, there's never going to be any suspense because we have already seen (at the start of this book) that they survive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Different
An innovative levelling system makes this novel worth reading. The early chapters are a little slow but do give the reader some necessary background info into the M/character. Some interesting variations to most fantasy styles! 9/10
