    This was a sweet fated mates book with a bit of mystery. I loved that even though their animals were on board, Hollis and Tate took a bit longer to accept that they were mates. I also love the whole clan as family feel that runs throughout the stories. So far, I haven’t read a book by Jacki James that I didn’t love!

    I really enjoyed Tate and Hollis' book. I liked that neither man was who the other envisioned, but they fit together perfectly. It was fitting that Hollis was the one who "gave in" to the Fates first - though he seemed the stronger at first, I liked that Tate would have been strong enough to survive having his mate leave, probably because he had the support of the clan.

    It's interesting that Copper Creek is becoming a stronger clan with each book, despite the efforts of members of the Council to discredit and weaken them. It'll be very interesting to find out what happens next.
