A virgin escort. A reclusive billionaire. A fake marriage.
What could possibly go wrong?
This wasn’t how I pictured my wedding day—sold to a man who won’t even look at me. Bryce Windsor is rich, ruthless, and twice my age. A billionaire recluse who needs a wife for reasons he refuses to share.
I married him to save my brother from the foster-care system. I can never break our contract—or we’ll lose everything.
Bryce says he doesn’t care who I am, only that I belong to him. That I’m untouched. That I’ll stay. No matter what.
But someone’s watching me. Coming to my bedroom at night. And I think it’s him.
Does that mean that, despite what he says, what my new husband wants is…me?
🔥 Book 1 of 3. Buckle up—HEA guaranteed in Book 3.
🔥 Warning: Contains swearing, steamy scenes, and a nightmare ex-girlfriend you’ll love to hate.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2024Overall I would give this book four stars. I really enjoyed the plotline and felt like the characters in the story really had chemistry. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The drama in this book was very captivating and had me devouring the book in a day. I’m looking forward to book 2. If your looking for a palette cleaner series after a heavy world building series, this is just what the doctor ordered! It’s a very easy read and lots of drama to captivate.
Spoiler alert part of the review! 🚨
I would’ve liked to see more of Chloe’s character development in the beginning of the story. I liked that the book just dove right into the drama, but I feel like it would’ve helped us understand Chloe better if we would’ve gotten a little taste of what her life was like before she got kicked out of the house. Maybe a flashback to the night her mom died or a flashback to when she first moved in with her dad and the step monster.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2025OH I DID NOT LIKE THE ENDING TO THIS STORY. I see I'll have to read Book 2 by Ms. James. This story started off with a young woman in a desperate situation.
Her dad was an alcoholic, her mom died in a car accident and her step mother was mean. This young lady who was just 19 had an 11 year brother. They were in danger in their living situation and she made a plan to get out.
She found someone willing to pay her a lot of money to be married. It was her ticket to give and her brother a better life. But
it turns out that this wasn't going to be so easy. Her husband was tough to deal with as well as his parents. This is a fascinating story with a lot of twists and turns. And frankly. These rich people were not so nice.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2025On man! Why? You can’t end a book like that!!!!
Ok up to the next one but good work in the first book!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2024Honestly a bit of a let down. The relationship dynamic was stiff and the power discrepancies is too obvious without the obsession that other books have captured. I finished this book as a challenge not because I enjoyed it. I will not be continuing this series especially if I’m buying these books.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2024Page turner. The Forever contract is a cliffhanger with a second book. Chloe and Bryce are thrown into marriage by a contract. Do they find love ? How do they navigate being married and from two different worlds. Wrong side of the road, track, river …….
- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2022Chloe and Noah were on their own. Father that didn't even want them, didn't even want them living with him and his wife. Shame on them! Chloe was in need, no money. She answered ad with a women who was a match maker. She met by a man who wanted a wife because he wanted his trust fund money. So Bryce married her the same day that he bought her. Her brother and her were shipped off to Maine. Chloe had to pretend that she was in love with Bryce to be paraded around showing everyone that the were together. But, he wouldn't take her, she was a Virgin. The marriage would be forever. Things started to happen after they arrived in Maine. Her father in law was a mean snob along with his young rich wife. His Ex shows up trying to get him back! Making a scene whenever she could. The father was stirring the pot! The storyline went around and around, funny at times. Chloe didn't even know what or how to believe what was happening with her marriage. One moment they are happy and in love the next Bryce is leaving her. Have to remember she is just a young woman of 19! Doesn't know much about life. At the end everything is there hanging.... Whatever happens next....who knows! The chemistry between these people are unbelievable! This author has out done herself with another amazing story. Can't wait to read more of this series 😀 Enjoy!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars WTF
Talk about a HUGE cliffhanger for the lead into the second book.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed this book.
I did miss sometimes not hearing Bryce's thoughts and POV but that's fine.
The writing in this is so fluid, in great detail and description. Keeps in rapture.
The scenes in this were great. The intimacy grew between the two. It wasn't forced or things weren't skipped.
The only thing I didn't like at the time was the first time. I would've liked it more romantic but when the scene is written and then reflected upon by Chloe it is explained and in a sense it had to be that way.
A can't say anything bad about it really. So onto the second book and God I hope Chloe gets her own.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story, part 1 of a trilogy
The story quickly drew me in, I hadn't realised it was the first in a trilogy when I started it but quickly went on to read all 3 books because I was invested in teh characters.
Chloe is a wonderful character, who hasn't always had an easy life and does her best to care for her younger brother. She meets Bryce in unusual circumstances, but looks to make the most of the situation. Bryce has his own family issues, the first dinner is very revealing. The side characters are well developed, even the ones that are not so nice where their personality shines through.
I'm sure that I'll revisit the story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good start!
I'm such a sucker for Billionaire romances, so The Forever Contract had me very intrigued. With two of my favourite tropes - billionaire romance and arranged marriage, it was an immediate yes for me.
This is the story of Chloe, a girl down who has taken responsibility for her 11-year-old brother Noah and has found themselves kicked out of their drunken father's home. Billionaire Bryce needs a bride to fulfill the terms of his inheritance and thus Chloe enters the picture.
I began reading with the full understanding that this book would end in a cliffhanger, so I braced for it. The chemistry between Bryce and Chloe developed quite quickly after the arrangements were set into place. Chloe's innocence and insecurities are very much highlighted throughout the book as it is written in first person with her POV. I really wish we got Bryce's POV as well, but we see enough of his desire for her through her POV.
When I first began reading, I was a bit bothered that Chloe was only 19 years old, but as the book progresses, I kind of put that fact to the side and focused on other things.
Overall, a great start to a series with a definite cliffhanger ending. Can't wait for the next!
