The Answer (Single Dad Support Group Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 626 ratings

When does a Single Dad not have any kids? When he’s a single Daddy.

What eternal bachelor and Wall Street mogul Damien wants more than anything is a boy of his own to cherish, but after years of heartbreak, he’s given up hope. No boy will ever love him as much as they love his wallet.

Which is true up until he meets his best friend’s son, Matthew—a timid single dad almost twenty years his junior who Damien knows right away that he can’t live without. No matter what it takes, Damien will love him, protect him, and spoil him. And one day, if he’s lucky, his sweet Matthew will want to call him Daddy.

The Answer is the 102,000 word conclusion to the Single Dad Support Group series. It features blazing-hot chemistry shared between a Daddy and his boy, the galaxy’s best d*ck pics, obscene confetti, and a friendship seven years in the making that will forever withstand the test of time.

Piper Scott’s love of reading began at age ten, when she discovered that the magical worlds in adult fantasy novels were way more exciting than playground politics. As she grew up, so did her reading habits, and now not only does she like to read books on the steamy side, but she loves to write them, too.

A Canadian by birth but an American by marriage, Piper currently resides in Southern Illinois, where she leads a quiet life with her husband, their three dogs, a very demanding cat, and her office mate—her pet rabbit.

If you love Piper’s omegaverse, mpreg, and paranormal romance books, be sure to check out her work as her gay contemporary romance alter ego, Emma Alcott!

Piper's books are interconnected. For complete immersion, the recommended reading order is as follows:

Rutledge Brothers Series:

Love Me > Save Me > Keep Me

His Command Series:

Obey > Beg > Stay > Heal > Breathe

Single Dad Support Group Series:

The Problem > The Proposal > The Solution > The Decision > The Promise > The Answer > Single Dad Sundays

*The Forbidden Desires series, co-written with Virginia Kelly, takes place concurrent to the events of Breathe. All other co-writes are not directly connected to Piper's omegaverse.

I love this series and I think this might be my favorite book in the series. Damien and Matthew are wonderful characters. I have enjoyed Knot's, Damien, banter and lightheadedness throughout the whole series and we get to see that and his hidden caring side in this book. He cares so deeply for those he loves.

I'm Interested in seeing more from these guys and hopefully that will happen in some way. I enjoy the friendship that the guys have and how they support each other in any way that they can.

This story lets Knot evolve and bring it back to Matthew who was in book one, The Problem. He gets to find his happily ever after finally and to show everyone that he is an adult now.

I loved this story and I'm sure you will too. You really should read the other books before this one to get the most out of it.

So sad to see this series ending! Loved seeing all the kids of people from other books and seeing them fall in love and find their way. So happy Knot finally got his HEA and that it was Matthew was even better! Hope to see more of these guys again someday!

This is an omegaverse romance with mpreg and some light Daddy play, it is the 6th book in the series that needs to be read in order! God, I’ve wanted a HEA for both Matthew and Knot since book 1, but I never imagined that it would be together! Such a great choice! The world building is incredible and I Honestly am going to miss the Dads from this group. If you like m/m omegaverse romance, you will adore this series but start back at book one, grab Kleenex, water to hydrate and hold on for the wild ride!!

I never write reviews (I know, I need to do better). But I got all these books on KU, and have been anxiously awaiting Knot's book, at least since TD and Aaron's. I should've known it'd be the last one. And wow, was it worth the wait. Read them in order, so that you can smile along to the inside jokes and laugh with your best friends and have your heart tugged out by the pain underlying Knot's exterior and root for him from beginning to end.

I enjoyed this series so much that I went on and bought the set, so it can go on my annual re-read list. If I didn't have work, I'd start re-reading from book 1 right now. Really really super job.

I love the guys of the Single Dads Support Group. These guys are all funny and loving and just a great bunch of guys to be around/read about. And the dad chats are still some of the best parts of the book. A good way to end a series! Highly recommend them all. And go check out the audiobooks as well! At this point they are not all out on audio but I highly recommend them too.

I really enjoyed the single dad series. I can't wait until she comes out with Shep's story, and Evie's story. I would also like to know if Simon ever had a baby.

The chemistry in this book is palpable. Damien loves his paybacks and Jayne is the glitter king in this book. Damien has such a soft care free side which he has to keep hidden when at work. Matthew has grown up quickly, and just wants someone to cherish and love him. The attraction and chemistry is palpable. As for getting to see all the other former Single Dad's its great. The payback Damien loves was great to read. Jayne is the glitter king in this book.

Gah I feel as if I have been waiting forever for this book. I was pretty worried that I would have hyped it up in my head too much and would be disappointed but it more than delivered. It was a wonderful conclusion to the series. My only complaint is that there were a few typos and that’s why I gave it 4.5 instead of 5. All in all I will miss the SDSG but I feel it got the ending it deserved.

As all the other Single dad support books, it is another hit. Happy to see Knot finish up the series. It is as if you are there, seeing all the scenes p.ay out in front of you. Ever so cleverly and well written, that you can't help to LOL or snigger at times of you.Yeah, makes people look funny at you, but you fellow readers understand what I mean.

This was a great book. If I could have, I would have read it in one sitting.

I had a heard a lot about the single dad support group, but never took the plunge. I am happy I finally did and will most likely be reading some of the other stories.

It was fun, it was sad, it was sweet, it was sexy, everything you would expect from a Piper Scott book and so much more.

I loved Matthew and Damien, they grow so much together and the love they have for each other was amazing.

    Really great book

5.0 out of 5 stars Knot the Single Daddy finally gets his Boy

I loved this final book in the Single Dad Support Group and I hope there's still some holiday short stories still to come and there is still at least one more wedding to come, perhaps? As a huge fan of Piper Scott's omegaverse, I live in hope.
She has created such a wonderful, fun, quirky group of characters that it's been quite a journey through six books, each focussing on each of the Single Dad's. Highly recommended for all lovers of MPreg MM Contemporary romance.
