The unEXpected Plan Kindle Edition
When I discovered that my boyfriend had cheated on me with his assistant, and then left me for her, my friends and I devised a plan—to make him pay.
It was simple.
It was foolproof.
Or so I thought.
Corbin Fields was my best friend’s older brother; he was also part of my revenge plan. It was brilliant...until the unexpected happened.
I was supposed to be getting over my ex...
Not getting under my best friend’s brother.

About the author

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped. She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
She is now a mother of three girls. The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. And to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2019Life doesn't work around our plans. No one knows that better than Brooke. She thought she had it all mapped out even down to the 2.5 kids until a breakup sideswiped her leaving her in a tailspin.
What do you do when life jacks up your plans via a hot blonde assistant? Well, Brooke takes the less conventional route.
I have to say I was an easy win with The UnEXpected Plan.
Best friend's hot older brother...yum.
A revenge plot...duh! What previously scorned woman wouldn't mind a little just desserts!?! (That's rhetorical)
Incomparable passion and chemistry...hells yeah!
Clearly Leddy Harper knew she would have an easy time snaring me but I loved every minute she had me dangling on that hook. These two are undeniably perfect together. I loved their denial and unwillingness to fess up about their feelings. Who doesn't want a little extra drama in their books!?! (Also rhetorical)
Ridiculous plan and even crazier friends aside, The UnEXpected Plan is a fun read. With every lie and omission you fall deeper under the spell these two cast. Soon you'll be spinning your own webs and trying to trap them, if only to keep them together.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2019This was a sweet, slow burn romance between Corbin and Brooke(Bridge). Corbin is the older brother of Bridge’s BFF. I loved Corbin and Brooke together. They were so good for each other. However, not everyone saw it that way. Would they love each other enough to make it work?
- Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2019I really enjoy a good best friends brother love story but it was hard to LOVE this book when the sister is an immature brat.
The brattiness, jealous and name calling wasn't cute.
I did love the main characters, there relationship was kind of a slow burn ... but again, "Nellie" ruined it.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019I love me some sweet, innocent romance...this is not that book. Brooklyn “Bridge” gets her heart broken, and because his baby sister Nellie (Brook’s best friend) manipulates him just a little, Corbin gets roped in to exacting a plan to get back at the cheating dirtball. What nobody was expecting was that Bridge and Corbin would totally fall for each other, breaking a key point in the sister code—Cue sneaking around. They really had a true, lasting connection, and I loved that they could play and be smoldering hot, and then be serious and really dig deep, but Nellie’s childish and manipulative approach to their relationship really did my head in. That being said, it was an absolutely satisfying book, filled with steamy interludes and knee melting moments.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019I really enjoyed this read. It was fun and entertaining. Nellie kind of got on my nerves the way she acted about the relationship that was happening with Brooke and her brother but I am glad she came around at the end.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2019I always enjoy a good best friend’s brother romance, and this one was really good. I liked Brooklyn and Corbin. Their connection and growing relationship was fun to read. I liked the secret aspect. It created an exciting element to the story. I thought, for sure, that Brooklyn was going to spill the beans. Her friendship with Nellie was a big factor in why they kept everything a secret. It was an entertaining read.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2019This is a 3.5⭐️ for me. I enjoyed the story. Brooklyn was annoying and frustrating at first with her desire to get back with her ex that cheated on her. But then again I understand how some people can be a little irrational right after a serious relationship has ended.
I loved Corbin. He had an on again/off again long term relationship that was currently on the outs. He just assumed that it would be on again at some point but his true feeling were evident with the lack of concern he gave towards it. He was a workaholic. His drive was from the way he was raised. Work always came first.
When Corbin was approached by his sister to help out her best friend Brooke with a little revenge plot, he was against it. He didn’t have time to get involved into childish antics but he allowed himself to get roped in anyway because he almost always caved into doing what his little sister wanted. That second meeting with Brooke really opened his eyes. He didn’t see her as his little sisters best friend anymore. There was something about her that pulled at him. The times they spent together were actually fun and enjoyable. He had someone who understood him, who liked the things he did and who showed him how much she cared.
Slowly but surely, Brooke’s feelings towards Corbin changed. She began to compare the relationship with her to how Corbin treated her and cane to some serious conclusions about what had happened. She was slowly falling for her best friends older brother. There’s a catch though. Nellie, her best friend and Corbin’s sister was a problem. She had a jealousy issue towards her older brother and vehemently against any of her friends, especially her best friend being with him. Lies are told, plans covered up and feelings are getting hurt. It’s all going to blow up in their faces. This could be a beautiful relationship or it could ruin everything between the three of them.
I enjoyed this story a lot. The 3.5⭐️’s are for the slight juvenile feeling I kept getting and how Nellies character drive me crazy. I think she needed more solid proof of an issue with her friends dating her brother and it going badly to be as crazy as she was about it. It came across as something a 15-17 year old would do. Overall though, I liked the story and loved the way Corbin and Brooke were as a couple.

5.0 out of 5 stars A gentle read
There is no real angst or heartbreak, just a lovely, gentle, story to a new love.
I really enjoyed the no drama of this book. I can't really explain it, as I'm no writer, but I was just carried along in the moment and read it in one go.
A lovely book.
Read and enjoy.
