About the author

I love to read and while I will read anything I can get my hands on, reading about vampires is one of my favorites. I cut my teeth on Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire and then after a bit of a hiatus I rediscovered the genre through Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series. I like a main character to have flaws and develop with the series. Cassandra starts off unsure of herself. As my paranormal series continues, she grows and matures. She makes mistakes and she tries to make up for them. I hope you dive into the world of Cassandra Myles, it's filled with vampires, werewolves, fae and even a few surprises.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2017As with the first 'Demon Hunter' novel, 'The Devil You Know' is shot through with some sly humour and pithy observations on male-female relations, as well as the usual fantastical, action-packed plot and a kick-ass heroine. A great beach read for lovers of hellish action tales - and this one is set largely in my own stomping ground, the UK (parts of which I think the author has fallen in love with, at least a little). A good recipe: throw in a little sex and a scenario of killing Lucifer, and bring to the boil. Season with Wiccans, the British Boys in Blue, demonic possession and missing pages from a bombshell manuscript, and serve with a glass of blood-red wine. I would, however, suggest you read Book 1 in the series first. You can pick up the plot quickly without doing this, but you'd be missing out.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2017The Devil You Know, the sequel to Electa Graham's first Demon Hunter novel, Heaven's Key, is not only every bit as good as its predecessor, it's even better. With new locales, strange and creepy characters, Medieval history, ancient ruins and ghostly occurences, the hunters Jael and Cole are back and in search of the missing pages of none other than the Codex Gigas itself. Cain, the son of Lucifer also makes a return, and somehow it's difficult not to like and somewhat empathise with such a chaotic and damned character. Electa Graham is on top form with the second novel of the Demon Hunter series. The central characters are a joy to revisit. If you liked Heaven's Key, you'll be missing out if you don't read The Devil You Know. If you haven't yet read Heaven's Key, then you should do that first, and NOW.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2017This second book in the Demon Hunter series leaves you wanting more! A great continuation of the exploits of Jael. Witty Banter, mystery, travel to historically rich locations, sexy interesting characters. What more could you want? The author has done a wonderful job developing the characters and giving you that feeling of investment that is so important for myself as an avid reader. Well done!

4.0 out of 5 stars A great second installment in Electa Graham’s Demon Hunter series!
The Devil You Know is the second installment in Electa Graham’s Demon Hunter series.
I loved that Jael, who is a strong female lead, continues to be her charming snarky self in this story. I also enjoyed the English country setting in this one. I do hope that there are more of Jael’s adventures planned to be released in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better than book one!
Electa's second instalment of the Demon Hunter Book series is even better than the first. Jael is back to her Demon killing best and this time the action is set in the United Kingdom. The adventure begins when Ambrose Barlow, her latest client, hires her to track down an ancient tome. What follows is an action-packed quest to locate the tome and destroy Lucifer in the process. Set against the backdrop of medieval castles, larger-than-life characters and kick-ass Demon slaying, Electa's second book does not disappoint. If you're a fan of supernatural fiction, I'd also recommend you read her excellent Cassandra Myles Witch series!
