    You will LOVE this book. Normally the second book in a series isn't that great.....but that was not the case with The Right Choice. I would say that it was even better than the first one!!!! If you liked the first one.....then you will LOVE this one. I can't wait to read The Road Home (Book #3)!

    So after reading Ruby’s book I had to read about Bear and P. The story has lots of feels, not all happy. It took a long time emotionally for these two to connect but chemistry wise it was off the charts. The happily ever after was so sweet too.

    I enjoyed the relationship between Bear and P and the build up to their romantic relationship was good. But then it seemed to dissolve into multiple issues and a failure to communicate. It just got weird and disjointed at the end. Disappointing book.

    This is the 2nd book in this series and is Bear and P’s story, and this can be read as a standalone. P is sassy, independent, and feisty, and she has suffered a tragedy which she has never gotten over to move forward in her life. Bear is a strong, sweet, and dominant silver fox, who comes to P’s yoga class’, and they become friends. These two have both suffered heartbreak in their pasts and they have a tangible chemistry between them, but they take their time and go at their own pace, and their friendship evolves into a relationship. When a surprise happens will Bear walk away? This is a beautifully written story which is about finding love after suffering terrible loss and moving forward with life. This is a sweet and emotional story which is filled with twists, family, and love, which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

    So I'm new to this series so it took me a bit to get the dynamics of the sisters..I was a HUGE fan of Bear and that didn't stop when he majorly screwed up. He stepped up when he needed to his son and made a life for both of them. He is successful,older and oh so gorgeous!! Silver Fox is 🔥 🔥 🔥!!! My issue and it made seem childish or weird since I haven't read the first book, but it drove me crazy that the author had everyone call Pearla "P" throughout the entire book. I get that it's a strange uncommon name but sincerely they couldn't call her Pearl.. Anyway, I admired P for moving and making a name for herself but her headstrong and attitude kinda threw me off about her. You could tell that she was the older sister cause she acted like it perfectly..I did like that the characters were older and mostly mature about the issues and circumstances that were brought their way. Yes there were fun moments in this book and the love between all of them was shown greatly..I did find it odd that matter with Bear was brought up but we never found if it happened or not in the end... kinda weird.

    “The Right Choice” is the second book in The Gemstone Sisters” series by Dee Lilac and I have to say that I just LOVE this series. This book is the story of P (Pearla Mae Stevens) and Bear Johnson. She owns two fitness centres and he’s a top real estate agent who flips houses and how they meet is both sweet and casual. This is a fabulous best friends to lovers story with both emotional moments and plenty of steamy burn up your Kindle scenes. The Author tackled some real life emotional traumas, grief and fears with tact and grace, giving this reader the chance to feel the full weight of such circumstances. I fell in love with the characters of this book and can’t wait for the next instalment of the series. I love and recommend this book and this series~ Angie❤️

    What a beautifully written romance. This an age gap not big but has one. This story about Bear and P will have you smiling. This is an emotional story but it comes together perfectly. I can’t wait to see what more there is to read…. This might trigger some readers with some death of a husband.

    I got immersed into the world this author created.

    There was a lot of emotion is this story, and I felt in on every page.

    I loved Bear! I thought he was such a wonderful character. Patient, loving, kind. But still hot AF. There were heartbreaking scenes, as well as some scorching and swoony scenes too.

    It was a really enjoyable read.

    All the characters were strong and it made me excited to read the author’s other books.

    P is the sister we all need.
