ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! I have always loved S. Massery’s books and i was so excited when she said she was going to dive into a new style! And she did it flawlessly and so amazing! By far one of her best books!! I loved the introduction of these characters and how beautifully dark and twisted they were described. Kora is by far one of her best female heroines! She is so broken, fragile, stunning, strong and a fighter all wrapped up into a Goddess (you’ll know what i mean when you read the book 😏). And then you have Apollo, Ares, and Hades. Who i could go on and describe in great detail but why would i want to spoil the surprises for you! S. Massery has always had a dark side to her books but when it comes to this series she definitely understood the assignment 😂. This book will consume you and you won’t want to put the book down until you have read every last word. I will warn you, S.Massery is an evil genius and she sure does love leaving cliffhangers, and this time she didn’t just leave one but left THREE!! HOW DARE SHE DO THAT?!? 😂😂 I am looking forward to the next book in this series and I’m sooo curious to find out how she answers all my questions!! **This is a reverse harem, #whychoose novel, meaning the heroine has more than one love interest.     Thief is one of those books that just take you by surprise & completely blows you away. It is definitely an extra star read. It's a dark reverse harem that has a fantastic storyline, great characters, & perfect pacing. It's not bully, it's not instalove, yet its dark & just right.

    The writing is incredible. The author really brought the characters to life. The FMC is extremely likeable & in a tough situation. It's written in a way that her actions make a lot of sense, you're rooting for her & she's got great chemistry with the guys.

    The guys are their own unique characters that are very distinguishable. Which is huge in rh in general. I felt like they were all needed & they all have their own dynamic with the FMC & with each other and as a group. They move at their own pace with the FMC & have really interesting back stories some of which were just scratching the surface on, so excited to get more on those. You know it's a good book when you come out with new book boyfriends.

    I would not call this enemies-to-lovers I would say that there's some enemies to Lover's themes initially. I really love that we get a dark rh with a really great plot that isn't bullying and isn't full on enemies to Lover's in the first book. There's just enough enemies to lovers sprinkled in.

    I felt like the relationships evolved organically from the situation. The FMC witnesses the MCS committing a crime and they do what they need to run her out of town to protect themselves

    This was my first read from this author so I wasn't expecting much, but I ended up liking this book. I love that this book focuses more on the plot than on sm*t. Most dark romances just focus on the sm*t, so it was refreshing to read something that will keep me guessing on what will happen next than on what hole will be filled next. I love the concept of using masks in this book to represent the Gods of Olympus. It was a unique concept. I love that the author described what the masks looked like in detail. It helped me visualize things more. I also love that the FMC was strong yet delicate. She was no superwoman who can do everything and had all the skills, but she tried her best to do things so she can survive. I love that the author wrote an FMC with flaws and imperfections. It showed that it was ok to have flaws and just be yourself. It showed that the right people will come along and accept you for who you are including all of your baggage. The MMCs in this book had different personalities. It was easy to distinguish them from one another. One of the problems with most RH books these days is a guy being just a carbon copy of another so it was hard to know who was who. I didn't encounter that problem in this book. I love that there were different back stories for the MMCs. I hope more will be revealed in the next books. I think this book needs more hype. It was an interesting read for me. There were no dull moments in the book. I recommend this book for those who would want to read a dark why-choose romance with more plot than sm*t, and a book filled with suspense, action and drama.

    🌸 Realize that this book is a book in a series … nothing 🌶️ happens until around 65% - so just keep in mind this is true story telling. With true angst - and true twists and turns that all have to be set up perfectly. But it’s worth it.

    🌸 The FMC Kora is in a new place, trying new things - but what she stumbles upon turns her into more than just Kora. She becomes the invisible girl, that puts herself in one of the top gang leaders sites and turns her into something … more.

    ⌛️ There are 3 MMC’s - all Greek God related. Hades, Apollo and Ares. And honestly I’m truly unsure who I need to be in love with - but for now I think it’s Ares with Apollo being a close second - I am unsure how to feel about Hades because he is so withdrawn and he doesn’t truly give a lot of himself up in this book like the others do.

    🌸 I truly enjoyed the story - the plot thickened - the intensity drew me in. Some may say it was a hard read because of all of the moving parts but truly - I took notes just to keep it straight - but I promise you it starts to come together and it is worth the wait.

    I could not put my kindle down for this book!

    Kora gets more than she bargains for when she turns up to Olympus.

    Apollo, Ares, and Hades ruin her life but she sticks around because, for her, going back to her hometown would be worse.

    I loved seeing them slowly soften up to her, and the good old "who did this to you?" Gets me every time. I hope everyone that hurt her gets what's coming to them.

    This ends on a cliffhanger but Fighter is downloaded and ready for me to read! I swear to god Jace and Apollo better be ok or I'm ready to fight Sara!

    I’ve read a majority of S.Masserys books and I cannot believe I slept on this series so long! I’m gonna be honest I cried when Apollo brought Kora groceries, the inner monologue that went through her broke my heart into pieces and I just cried and cried (unfortunately at work too everyone thought I was insane). I love this book so much, the care that Wolfe puts into Kora as well as Apollos bleeding heart, ugh just pulls at my heart strings. I’m in love with these boys and their stories. I can’t wait to start the next one!

    I’m left with a lot of unanswered questions just like the FMC aka Kora.

    Now this little beauty was full of wonderful surprises. A girl with a traumatic past and a twist. A chance to make a new life goes up in flames.
    It’s the whole works this series so far anyway for me that is lol I’m like addicted already. I love the plot, the twists and where this is going. It’s got a lot going on but in a good binge worthy way that has you gripped and eager to read more.

    I’m new to S. Massery and already love their imagination and writing.

I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
