Thor (The BOHICA Chronicles Book 4) Kindle Edition
The ZOO wants to kill THOR. Humans would want that as well, but they don't know what he is.
What is Charles going to do?
Charles brings Thor to Benin, where he can safely hide out until things calm down. Unfortunately for both of them, that takes them out of the frying pan and into the fire.
The Pendjari National Park isn’t the Zoo, but lions, elephants, and rhinos are not pushovers.
When human militias invade the park, Thor and park ranger Achille Amadou are trapped between the proverbial rock and a hard place. How do you protect the park and THOR? Achille has to hide just what Thor is...
Can he hide what Thor is when Thor makes that hard to accomplish?
Will the militias figure out what that creature is that attacks them?
Pick up THOR and find out.

About the authors
I am a retired Marine infantry colonel and now a full-time writer living in Colorado Springs with my wife Kiwi and twin five-year-old girls, Danika Dawn and Darika Marie. I am a two-time Nebula Award Finalist, a two-time Dragon Award Finalist, and a USA Today Bestselling writer.
I published my first work back in 1978, a so-so short story titled "Secession." Since then, I have been published in newspapers, magazines, and in book format in fiction, political science, business, military, sports, race relations, and personal relations fields. I returned to writing fiction in 2009, and I currently have over 100 titles published, 80 being novels. My novelette, "Weaponized Math," was a finalist for the 2017 Nebula Award, "Fire Ant" was a finalist for the 2018 Nebula Award for Best Novella, "Integration" was a finalist for the 2018 Dragon Award for Best Military Science Fiction or Fantasy Novel, and "Sentenced to War" was a finalist for the 2021 Dragon Award in the same category.
My undergraduate degree was earned at the U. S. Naval Academy (Class of 1979), and I have attended graduate school at U. S. International University and the University of California, San Diego, earning a masters and doctorate. I am a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the US. Naval Academy Alumni Association, and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America where I'm serving as the Nebula Award Commissioner.
I have rather eclectic tastes. I have won awards in photography, cooking, writing, and several sports, earning national championships in rugby and equestrian events. When I'm not writing, I'm reading, cooking, going to the gym, taking my girls fishing, or traveling. I attend quite a few cons over the course of a year, and love meeting other people who love books.
I write because I love it. I only hope that others might read my work and get a bit of enjoyment or useful information out of my efforts.
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read!
Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.
In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories.
The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2019I became attached to Thor, the alien wolf, like many others and enjoyed the story of his closeness and acceptance by the humans that he interacted with and protected or killed if deamed an enemy. I look forward to other BOHICA stories with the team and Thor. Excellent Authors. I will always read one of their books when available
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2019I really enjoyed reading all four of these books, the storylines were well written. They really painted a good picture of the zoo area as well as the zoo creatures, each book was excellent on its own but the four together made up a great story and would love to see a mini series or movie made from these books that would incorporate all four stories together. Thank you for such a excellent read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2021Great book. Great series. Great authors. Now I would love to see more in Africa or with the Crypid Assassin, or even with James Brownstone, who has his own aliens. Thank you for this series. Please bring more.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2019As always, this book was difficult to put for me. I had to get to find out how it ended. Was so glad that Charles and Thor reunited. While reading, I was always anticipating as to when that would happen. Hope another book is in the works to continue their relationship and adventures. On another note, I would love for these authors to come up with a storyline in military time travel. Where soldiers from our present are transported to hundreds, thousands or millions years into our past. Just a suggestion. In the meantime, I'll await for book 5 of the BOHICA Chronicles.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2019I like this offshoot of the Zoo World. Easy to like characters. Everybody wants a pup like Thor. I do recommend reading all four.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2019I am so glad that you continued Thor’s story. What a story it is. Achilles starts to learn about Thor and come to understand him and enjoy his company. But the bad guys don’t want anyone interfering with their business. They find out you don’t mess with Bohica and friends cause they will bring it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A different voice
We hear from Thor in previous books, but he has grown and learnt more. It’s fascinating seeing him grow and his thought processes. A different tone to the usual Zoo stories, but still the Zoo voice with Thor. Definitely a necessary story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great continuation
I'm loving the characters and story more each book and cannot wait to read the next one as soon as it comes out. Love Thor and cannot wait to find out what happens next with his little pack. I do hope that he will find a mate. Cheers!

4.0 out of 5 stars A DIFFERENT TALE
A pleasant read, what more is there to say.
A very current story line but I did not get involved.
This is a very good author, very good, but he must have been a bit sleepy this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars God of Thunder!
Wonderful epilogue? Unusual to find out more after the main event. Thor is finding his feet in his new home. But evil lives in many places and Thor's new home is not exempt. Can Thor win?
