It was never Fat Frankie Finch’s intention to become a gangster. In fact, he just wanted a nice life, a bit of razzle-dazzle and to be able to treat his Linda once in a while.

Until one fateful morning when everything changed.

TM Thorne lived in London for many years before giving in to property prices and the demands of raising a family, and now lives messily in the English countryside with her motorsport-mad husband and son and three demanding cats.

When not writing about her much-missed city, spending time with her family or tripping over engines and spanners littered around the house she likes to eat, drink and feel guilty about not doing enough exercise.

This shirt story gives the reader a bit more in-depth view of why Franky Finch is the way he is, and the author writes in such a way that allows the reader to be right there with the character and feel and see everything that’s happening to him.

A great appetiser for a budding series, I can't wait to read more.

I struggled with the first few pages and then I got hooked.

And I mean really hooked. This is a short story, and when I got the end I wanted more. I’d emotionally invested in Frankie Finch, and am eager for the part of the story.
