    I have loved Bastien since I started reading this series. I was raised to be partial to dragons and he is just so darned nice! Saina is a good counterpart and as different type of shifter. I enjoyed how she tries to protect Bastien from herself.

    I loved all that makes Bastien different from the other dragons. The story has action off and on right from the start. Add in super characters, steamy scenes, fun scenes and dialogue and you have this easy to read shifter romance. Try it yourself and see. This story can be read on its own, but you would get more if you read them all in order. Enjoy!

    I liked the challenges the dragon & siren had to face. If it was a longer book, I d enjoy have the dragon family have to come to terms with Bastien’s superiority, but it was well implied. I had thought “The Den,” earlier, but felt it too “Bear” oriented. But….it’s good. I can’t wait to see what Scarlet is.

    ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I buy all of Zoe Chant’s books because I love her HEAs and her style of writing! I do own this whole series!

    The cover is okay, but not my favorite.

    This is the 5th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content. While not mandatory, I highly recommend reading the whole series in order because the characters are so much better if you know everything!

    This is Bastian’s story, and wow, you learn so much about him that you had no idea about! I don’t want to ruin anything, but you have to read it to find out. Saina doesn’t trust herself because of what she is. I love how them loving each other makes them stronger, and they don’t see it happening. Of course, there is a perfect mix of trouble and romance that seems to always come at Shifting Sands! Who knew a dragon and a mermaid could be a perfect for each other pair!

    I highly recommend to any shifter fan who loves mixed paranormal worlds especially if you love any of Zoe’s books! I can’t wait to see what comes out next!

    As if enchanted by a siren song, I could not put this book down! The writing transported me to Shifting Sands, and the story was beautifully told. The characters and the journeys they take in this series are all unique. I really enjoy the voices of the shifters’ animals - Bastians’s dragon is particularly delightful!

    Another excellent installment to the series! This is definitely one to read and re-read.

    Even though I don’t know what Scarlett is I just love her; to me she is a big softie.

    Bastian, a Dragon with a Water affinity, meaning his treasure hunting skills lead him to underwater treasures & in this book that affinity leads him to his mate.

    Saina is a siren/mermaid but she’s not like the others in her pod. As she’s the only one who went to to rescue their “Voice”. But, she not only gets her “Voice “ in the end but she gets her mate too.

    Though in this book the bad guy is Bastian’s brother.

    I was very disappointed when comparing this novel to other shifter novel written by Zoe Chant. The characterization and action sequences were under developed and boring. This is the first novel written by Zoe Chant that was so boring and written in a juvenile style.

    Book 5: Tropical Dragon Diver from series Shifting Sands Resort is short and sweet story. Some parts of the story can be triggering for readers who’ve experienced lost love and family issues. Not much family drama occurring or fighting with the enemy especially when the enemy is family. It does show that you can choose your friends and who you love and trust as your family members but it’s unfortunate that you can’t choose your birth family.

    Lmao, I enjoyed this. It was a really quick read but kept me entertained most of the way through.

    Love fated mates and loved that it took a while for Saina to feel the pull like Bastian did. It made her love feel move honest. And I also love how a lot of the love professions were Saina’s. Romance novels can feel really one sided some times with the male devoting himself while the female is just thinking everything and not telling him. This was a well appreciated change.

    No real notes but it’s not the top of my list of anything.
