    I went into this book with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. Remo has been a character I wasn’t entirely sold on in the earlier books—he rubbed me the wrong way in Twisted Loyalties, and while Twisted Emotions started to change my mind, I still wasn’t sure how much I’d actually like him in his own book. But I have to say, Twisted Pride genuinely surprised me.

    The first half was a bit slow for my taste. The push and pull between Remo and Serafina took time to fully grab me, and I wasn’t sure where their dynamic was headed. But once I hit the 50% mark? I was hooked. Couldn’t put it down.

    Serafina’s character was a standout for me. She’s strong, resilient, and doesn’t break under pressure—even when she’s held captive by one of the most feared men in the mafia world. And Remo? This book gave him so much more depth. He wasn’t just the ruthless, intimidating enforcer I expected; there were layers to him that made him more compelling and, dare I say, likable.

    As for the audiobook, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel absolutely delivered. Their dual narration brought so much emotion and intensity to the story. They nailed the tension, the chemistry, and the raw emotions between the characters, making the listening experience even more immersive.

    Overall, while the pacing in the first half slowed me down, the second half completely made up for it. Twisted Pride ended up being an emotional, and well-narrated listen that I’m really glad I gave a chance.

    Remo Falcone is Capo to Las Vegas Camorra and he rules the west. When the Outfit breaches his territory and attacks him and his brothers he promises revenge. The opportunity comes when he kidnaps Capo Dante Cavallaro's niece Serafina on her wedding day. Thus their story begins!

    Remo Falcone was somewhat of a mystery to me. I saw sides of him in Twisted Loyalties and Twisted Emotions but I am glad I got to fully know him in Twisted Pride. The anti hero is quite sexy and I like his intensity, arrogance and darkness. This book, in this series, these characters, in these families, well, they come to life, and I experienced everything with them. It is tortured, it is painful, but it is also so beautiful.

    "Love can bloom in the darkest places, and ours did wildly, freely, untamable"

    Remo and Serafina find their peace within, and then see that calm in the other. The chaos is there, and is weaved within that peace that they find together. Heart-breaking, heart-wrenching, and heart-bursting love, and a perfect match for this wild pair! My favorite moment was when at the end Remo let’s Serafina go. He doesn’t want to cage her but wants her to stay with him by choice. If you have read past books, you know that Mafia men don’t let their women go once they had them. I thought that made him so different than other men.

    When Remo exchanged himself for Adamo , I have never loved him more. No greater love can be then that. I knew that moment on I was Remo Falcone’ fan. He would die for those close to him. He loves his brothers unconditionally and wholeheartedly.
    I loved their relationship, brotherhood, how much they cared for one another and were willing to die for the other, despite their constant bickering and banter. I loved seeing that side of the Falcones.

    Twisted Pride is dark romance at it's finest, a book full of action, blood, loyalty and of course, romance too. Remo and Serafina's story has all this and much more, it really left me wanting more from them and this family

    Okay so, I just somehow started with this book first after finishing the "Bound By" Series, well I didn't read the Growl one whoever the F that is. I just couldn't get enough of Cora's writing (although some of the Bound By series books had a lot of grammatical errors, idk why that bothered me so much) I skipped Fabiano and Leona cause it just didn't really appeal to me, idk why. Nino & Kiara's story (I've read it now, and wish I would've read it first before T.P just because the ending of the first book briefly talking about the way Remo looked at Serafina's picture) I'm convinced he just loved her from the get-go. I'm cheesy. So, explaining this book to friends was a weird thing, but IT'S MY FAVORITE OUT OF THE WHOLE SERIES, LIKE ALL OF THEM. I was SO into Gianna and Matteo's story, until I read the short story of them in Bound by Blood Anthology and kind of felt like, ew what happened to them.
    IDGAF what anyone says about this book cause literally like I dove into it not even really knowing who Remo or Nino or any of them were. Just the brief thing with Fabiano and his mom's bracelet with Aria and that was sketchy but, coming from that and then just coming into this... I wasn't expecting the ending of this book. The latter series was low-key predictable, and got a littttttle boring-ish. The Camorra is just ugh ugh ugh. I have re-read this book 3 times now. TO THE PEOPLE TALKING SHIT ON SERAFINA FOR LOSING HER BACKBONE MID-BOOK, OK LISTEN - Clearly, Remo was lying when he said that she was just another girl to him and didn't mean anything. They ended up falling for each other in the most strangest of circumstances. I have to admit, when he took her virginity, I kinda felt a little eh about it like ok, he's kind of douchey. But reading her side, I just have to understand because I obviously have never been in her position. Obviously. Idk, maybe I just recognize the relationship dynamic as well. It's such a beautiful novel though. I actually have quotes saved and my friends some how saw them and read them out loud and it was quite embarrassing (they are relevant to my real life relationships)
    OK SO - It got kind of slow after she left Remo, or rather Remo let her go... and like wtf is wrong with her family. Whatever. But the fact that it made me so emotional is how powerful the book is. It's like forbidden love with a real life twist that isn't "The secret life of a american teenager" lame or whatever. It felt real and not annoying. I've never done a book review before, but nonetheless. THEY'RE MY FAVORITE I WISH I COULD RE LIVE AND RE LIVE AND RE LIVE THIS NOVEL BECAUSE THEM. FOREVER.

    Well I am extremely suspicious to talk about this book since the couple is my favorite of the entire series. Remo and Serafina are so WOW that I think it will be difficult to get into words how much I love them and the book too.

    I'll start by talking about my favorite character from Cora's books: Serafina Falcone. Since the beginning of the book she has shown herself to be a very strong character, who would not bow her head to the enemy and who would fight to the end for her honor, and throughout the reading, I realized that she is exactly like that, so much so that she can leave the dreaded capo of the Camorra on his knees. The ferocity with which she protects those she loves inspires me a lot and makes me love her even more, the character was well developed from the beginning to the end of the book and there were some scenes that I just wanted to scream WOW THATS MY GIRL ANGEL

    Now talking about the most cruel ,twisted and brutal man in the West, Remo Falcone. Since his first mention in bound by love, I have been intrigued by the character, how he and his brothers at such a young age managed to seize power, rebuild a mafia that was destroyed and prosper to make it a great threat to rival mafias,Remo succeeded and became one of the most feared Capos and I admire him very much for that. I have to admit that in twisted loyalties I didn't know if I would really like the capo, especially because I didn't see his point of view and thoughts about the facts, but since Twisted Emotions he totally won me over and became my favorite main character. A similarity that I noticed from the beginning between Remo and Serafina was their unconditional love for their families, always seeking to protect them, they would walk on fire for those they love, in the case of Remo , literally. I am always thrilled to think that he so young with the support of Nino, created his brothers, being a father figure that he did not have, it is very clear the importance that his family has for him, in all the books we have scenes that prove this.

    Well, the relationship between Remo and serafina starts in a very troubled way lol but that made the book very exciting , which I liked. I think they are one of the couples with the best development written by Cora , their chemistry since the beginning caught me, the fine line between hate and love and their love demonstrations at the end of the book made me completely obsessed with the couple.

    * spoiler moment *: The climax of the book with Serafina having the twins, who are the most beautiful thing in the world, saving Remo and them going back to Las Vegas, is absolutely perfect, I never get tired of rereading those scenes and crying every time !

    Anyway, this was an incredible read, I loved to follow the journey of these characters, to see more about the others characters I love so much like Kiara (in this book we realize even more the beautiful relationship that she has built with the falcone family) and the others falcone brothers . I am VERY excited for the children's book, I fell in love with nevio and greta from the beginning and I can't wait to see them living their own stories, poor Remo that will suffer with these two lol

    I love the couple so much that I would give anything for more of their scenes, a book or a short story at least 🙏🏼 but I am already happy that we will see more of them in sins of the fathers. I will and this review with one of my favorite scenes from this incredible book!

    How have I not read this book before? Ugh, I hate myself so much sometimes. Cora Reilly is hands down one of my favourite authors at there. I’ve read AND loved her BIC series and I quite frankly never thought it’d be possible for me to love a couple as much as I love Dante and Valentina (from Bound To Duty). That is until I’ve met Remo and Serafina. I can say that Twisted Pride is definitely my favourite book in The Camorra Chronicless series.

    Remo Falcone is the Capo of the Camorra and Serafina is the beloved niece of Dante Cavallaro, the Boss of The Outfit who happens to be The Camorra's sworn enemies. On her way to her wedding, Serafina gets kidnapped by Remo who wants to use her as a bargaining chip to achieve his plan. He wants to break her but surprisingly for him, she’s a long stronger than what he expected. She doesn’t bend to his will and wants to bring him to his knees…

    I can’t say too much about the story obviously, but I felt all the feels reading it. I laughed, I cried, I cringed and I swooned. It’s quite hard to explain, but I simply love them. The chemistry between Remo and Serafina is explosive and undeniable. Despite their hatred for one another, they can’t deny their intense attraction.

    Overall, TWISTED PRIDE is an enemies-to-lovers, unputdownable, captivating, addictive, mafia story filled with passion, suspense and unexpected twists. I truly believe that no one can write mafia romances like Cora Reilly. I’ve read most of her books, and I’ve never, EVER been disappointed. I love her.

    I can’t fault this book at all, it was pure perfection! It had all the tropes I adore in it and I just couldn’t put it down.

    Remo & Serafina have my whole heart. I loved their story so much! They matched each others energy perfectly - no one in this world would be able to handle Remo the way Serafina did. They deserved each other!!

    Remo has an absolute hold on me!! His character was so complex and deep, the more I read about him the more I fell in love with him. He will forever own my heart!!

    Also, I’m just utterly obsessed with the Falcone brothers. Their bond is unmatched. I’d walk through fire for them!!

    Remo and Serafina’s story was the definition of enemies to lovers and it was so good!! This one is definitely filled with ups and downs and I couldn’t get enough.

    I wasn’t sure if was going to like Remo’s story because I really didn’t like him in book 1 and enemies to lovers isn’t my favourite trope but toward the end of book 2 I started to come around to him and after reading his book and seeing how he cares for his family and how he comes to be around Serafina made me love him- even if he is an absolute psychopath! And Serafina I loved from the start! I loved how strong she was and how she become more her true self as the book went one.

    I am definitely loving this series and the Falcone family so much!!! 😍
