Unplanned Parenthood Kindle Edition
Jordan is the best of the best. At killing. But even she can be replaced. When she’s sent on a mission to rescue a politician’s daughter, she discovers just what her government’s plans for her really are—and just where her loyalties lie. In an America where women live in fear, homegrown terrorists have control, and every move is under surveillance, is it even possible to be one of the good guys? A feminist tale of dystopia, redemption, and hope.

About the author

E.P. Clark starting writing fiction as soon as she deigned to learn to read, which was not particularly early--she spent a good deal of her childhood doing more important things, such as pretending to be a unicorn. Slightly later, she wanted to be a world-class equestrian. But, much to her surprise, the heavy finger of fate pointed her way and she ended up moving to Russia, which led, very circuitously, to her earning graduate degrees in Russian from Columbia University and UNC-Chapel Hill, and her current employment teaching Russian at Wake Forest University, along with some odd travel opportunities. The picture, for example, was taken in Finnish Lapland, shortly before she was almost trampled by stampeding reindeer. She continued writing fiction throughout all this, however, and has published multiple short stories and novels. She loves hearing from her readers and can be found at https://epclarkauthor.net/.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2016This is a fast-paced thriller set in a dystopian America. The shady patriarchy espouses respect for life but enforces it through the most lethal means.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2017This is a story as told through the eyes of Jordan, and it is very much her story. The narrative is told in her words, and Jordan is more street-smart than book-smart, a little vague, plus more than a tad stand-offish. This does make the narrative all of those things, but I think that EP did a good job of staying in form for the entire story.
Besides, who doesn't want to flee to Canada?
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2016Jordan is special, she is gifted and she has been chosen to find Kyra. The thing is, there is a lot more going on as the author takes readers on a fast paced thrill ride into a future where killer clones are what is being talked about and what we do personally is treated as a crime. This is the first book I have read by this author and although it is short, the author tells a great story and makes readers think of what may be coming.

4.0 out of 5 stars A quick and easy read.
An action-packed story set in an American where it is illegal to have an abortion. Jordan, a very powerful and highly trained operative is approached with a mission to rescue the daughter of a politician who has been captured by militants while travelling across the border to help her younger sister get an abortion but not everything is as it seems and as time goes on, more truths are unravelled. I normally don't read action packed books but I found this to be a quick and easy read.
