    I can't fully put into words in describing the delightful stories by Avery Ford. His writing style is impeccable. His way of bringing two men together under unusual circumstances and his descriptions of growing attraction and developing feelings toward each other is awesome. The descriptions of sexual activity are realistic and tasteful but limited enough to not be pornographic. His stories are full of realistic emotions, tremendous depictions of true love, and always end with happy endings. I can't begin to say enough good things about Avery Ford!

    Avery Ford is a capable writer. Her stories are written grammatically correct. Her spelling and punctuation are usually top notch. Her proofreaders do a good job, only occasionally missing a misspelled or improper tense of a word. However, she seems to follow several irritating patterns in this anthology. For one, the two main characters in each story are given specific roles - dominant or passive. Top or bottom. There is no grey area. No versatility. Boring. The top/dominant character is aggressive, while the bottom/passive character is submissive. Secondly, the author doesn't provide much back story to her characters. Basics are given, but nothing to indicate why/how these characters came to be who they are. Thirdly, the main characters meet for the first time and sparks fly. It's instant infatuation/attraction and it's obsessive. My fourth criticism of this series is that while the author has developed a story and given you enough information to tie the plot points together, she writes pages upon pages describing the sex scenes between characters (or even the self-gratification of a single character). An entire chapter can be devoted to describing the sex acts between the newly connected couple. These men in her stories have sex with such frequency it is unrealistic and difficult to believe they have time for any other activities. I get that these are romance novels and sexual tension is necessary, but unless the characters have extremely high libidos and/or are sex addicts, these stories are unrealistic fantasies. I'd rather read a book with a good plot and developed characters, with sex as an added bonus, rather than the other way around where the book is focused on the sex between the men and the story just provides a backdrop.

Gave me the impression that these may have been previously written, then updated. Overall not a bad read. I did particularly like the story about the teacher and the farmer as well as the real estate agent and his client stuck in a snowstorm
