When Nicolas gets roped into putting his newly remodeled home on Avana Springs Christmas house tour and quickly realizes he is in over his head, Terry is the perfect person to help him. Jacki James has been saying she was going to write a book since she was sixteen and wrote fanfiction (before fanfiction had a name) about her favorite Rockstar. She is a believer in love of all kinds but MM romance is her favorite by far. She has a romantic heart and a dirty mind and likes to write stories that let both shine.

When she isn’t writing she is either creating beautiful pieces of glass art or reading. She is an animal lover and dreams of having a small hobby farm where she can raise goats, chickens and organic veggies. In the meantime, she lives in town with her two cats, awesome husband, and two college-aged kids.

What a wonderfully sweet Christmas story! Surly city boy who hates all things Christmasy falls for a small town boy who is all about the joys of the season. You will laugh, cry, and fall in love with these men. They pulled me in from the first pages and wouldn't let me out! I loved this book.
Jacki has created an enchanting town filled with intriguing characters. There is joy, passion, childlike wonder, loyal friends, family, and puppies! And a snow globe that may just have enough magic in it to last forever. This story will have you believing in Christmas miracles.
This is Terry and Nicolas's story. Nico moved to town with his boyfriend. Before the renovations on their house were finished, their relationship was over. Trying to sell the house, Nico is conned in to entering it in the Christmas House Tour. Problem: Nico does not do Christmas. Enter Terry, the town florist and resident force of nature. He is all the Christmas spirit you could ever want. With his help, Nico's house is decorated, and his beliefs about Christmas are shattered and re-formed. HEA is assured. You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

I am definitely more Terry than Nicholas when it comes to the holidays . One thing I loved most was how the author had Nicolas' dislike of everything holiday never leave his mind and yet somehow Terry's love of everything holiday snuck in here and there, it wasn't a "snap your fingers turnaround". If you don't like insta-connection than this might not be for you but personally I loved how their attraction grew so quickly, realistic yet entertaining, fun yet believable, and witty yet just plain lovely.

A Very Terry Christmas is chock full of holiday cheer, a little bah-humbugging, family, and finding not only the one person to bring it all together but also the place. Avana Springs isn't exactly what Nicolas wanted once his boyfriend broke it off and left even though Nico moved there for him but it has a way of sneaking into one's heart. Another great #ChristmasRead that made me smile, made me laugh, and warmed my heart. A gem you don't want to miss.

So, let me be honest - I Love Christmas!
The food, the music and the overall pageantry. Christmas music lifts my spirit. So about the book, it did that for me. And just like the main character, it wasnt about expensive gifts but time with loved ones and giving wonderful heartfelt surprises that are beautifully wrapped.
That's what this book is, a seasons feeling contained in words. I'm so looking forward to reading this series.
Especially now that were all in CD19 quarantine. You want a synopsis of the book, read the authors. So much better than what I can write.

    Gives me hope.

So I skimmed the book. The reason being, the author either writes continuous dialog or scene building. An example is right at the beginning of the book. Tons of scene building, which is fine. But once the characters are talking that's it. Continuous dialog, with a he said, he chuckled, he added thrown in.

But, that's just my personal opinion on the writing style. Some people dont mind it. I do.

That being said, the skimming I did showed it's a feel good book, which is why I gave it a couple stars.

The book I read immediately before this was marketed as a HEA, but ended up... not so much at the very end. I really needed a fun, quick, happy read. Terry is such a sweetie and easy to love. Thanks for brightening my day! I really needed a smile.

This was a cute story. It’s set in a small town that goes all out for Christmas, with a man who doesn’t like the hoopla round Christmas needing help to decorate his house. He is rescued by the town florist, and Christmas joy and love (and puppies) follow to a hopeful ending g!

Totally sweet, two lovable MCs, set in a perfect little town and just the right amount of sexy times! This story was fun, and low angst... no contrived drama just two hunky guys getting to know one another and falling in love. If you hate insta-love then this one might not be for you... for myself even as fast as things progressed it felt very right. Terry and Nico are just perfect together and I also loved the small town the story is set in and all the wonderful people living there.

This was a fluffy delight to read. Nico was a Christmas grump but Terry’s joy completely obliterated the grumpiness. Nico and Terry falling in love and enjoying Christmas is pretty much the entire plot. It’s a simple plot, but the characters are likable and I had fun reading the book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Christmas love connection
Reviewed in Canada on November 16, 2020
This story was perfectly sweet and easy and a total Hallmark movie in print if that is what you are looking for. Nico is planning to move out of the small town he bought a house in after flipping the house, but needs to wait until spring to sell it. A self professed Christmas hater, the best way to get his flipped house notice is to join the Christmas tour. But that means decorating for the holiday he hates in the town he isn't interested in living in! How will he ever get through it? Well, he meets Terry and the two have an instant connection. Terry lives Christmas and is bubbly and sweet and agreed to help decorate. The only payment he wants is showing Nico how awesome Christmas and the small town are! But the Christmas grinch Nico couldn't possibly come to love both Christmas and the small town could he? Honestly is was all very pat, working out smoothly and perfectly and just feeling a bit too Christmas perfect. The writing was on the wall from the beginning but if you want a simple Christmas read like that this delivers.

It’s very sweet but completely predictable. There wasn’t anything overly exciting or angsty about it, and the characters, even the leads, were very one dimensional. Short sweet holiday read with no bones to it.
