"Dangerous little things. If you aren't careful, they'll burn. Better to get rid of them before they get too close." So, where can I start? I start to the beginning xD Vicious Little Snakes is the second book of Hillcrest Prep series. It can't be read as a standalone, you have to read Filthy Little Pretties first. We can read the story in present time but we get to know about Liam & Caroline's past too. We can read the story in the main characters POV. I don't know how to write down their relationship. It's different and maybe toxic, yes, but they're perfectly fit. They made mistakes like everyone else in the world. Maybe they're liar. YES, but they are so real and finally make their own choices and live their own life. I really like them. Caroline who a little mean but she has so many scars in her heart so that's totally acceptable. I'm so proud of her! In the beginning she didn't know what she want, but at the end she stand herself and does what she want! Liam a real man*****, but think abouth it closer. He really is? I don't think so! He's the most caring and sweetest character who I've ever met. He made mistakes, yes! Huge mistakes but finally he do what he want! He grew up! "Don't worry, Carebear. It might hurt, but I'll always kiss it and make feel better!" I highly recommend this book to everyone! It might be hurt but at the end you'll see. Worth to read!

    Not gonna lie, my friends...Hillcrest Prep series is a total addiction for me and Liam Brooks OWNS me!! He won me over in Filthy Little Pretties. There was just something about him that pushed him into my number one Trilina Pucci book boyfriend spot. Liam and his journey to HEA with his oh so magically delicious mean girl. Is completely unforgettable, excitingly unputdownable and at times frustrating yet still so phenomenal and fabulously written. This is a must read for all fans of frenemies to lovers, brothers best friends, and second chance romances. It’s legit the perfect combination of everything you could possibly want, mixed with things you didn’t even know you needed. Yet... Trilina gave them to you in ways so good you will never forget this book!

    So, what can I say about Liam and Caroline without giving anything away?! Well they’re two drop dead gorgeous folks, I’m talking pretty enough to make you cry with their modelish good looks and sex appeal. They ooze confidence. They simultaneously reign over their minions leaving them both terrified and envious of this delicious duo. They lash out with lethal tongues verbally bringing the smack down to anyone who dare cross them. But ultimately only each other has the ability to hurt the other one. Because really only the people you love the most can cut you deepest with just their words. Oh how I cried over this. It was devastating the heartbreak they put each other through to protect themselves and each other from heartache. What a conundrum right! You hurt your person, your ride or die, because you know you will hurt them in the end. Huh! Wow! Try to figure that one out!

    While maybe for a millisecond I might have been tempted to tell ol’ Caroline to get on her diamond encrusted broomstick and fly back to her mansion, from very early on I felt like we needed more information about this mean, yet misunderstood princess, and WE GOT IT!! AI really loved how this author allowed us to discover little by little their history and why Caroline was the way she was. And Liam… well he had issues of his own. The way these complex characters had their revelations and grew from them into the characters they became. Oh my heart. It was perfect. They were fantastically flawed. Perfectly imperfect actually. Better together.

    This book wasn’t just a story, it was a journey an experience, and it was one I won’t soon forget. I will look back on these characters with fondness and a love for all the pieces of them. The broken and the healed. The mean and forgiven. The snobby and the humbled. This is everything I love about books and reading and life changing characters overcoming the obstacles to be with their one inevitable love.

    The Hillcrest Prep Crew is back at it with Liam, Caroline, and Kai as the focal point.

    Caroline is determined to fortify a coveted position in high society. She is conniving and devious, taking on everyone, never afraid to be the mean girl.

    Liam wants Caroline but she is involved with his long-time friend, Kai. Kai and Caroline have a sweet, easy friendship. He is very protective over her and provides her with the healthiest relationship she has in her life.

    Kai is one of my favorite characters. He is so even-keeled, gentle, and handles Caroline so exquisitely; you immediately love him. Everyone needs a Kai in their life! Their friendship is of the utmost importance to him.

    Liam second-guesses every move he makes. He tries living up to familial pressure but is losing himself in the process.

    Liam and Caroline dance around each other continuously; it’s almost tragic. They are constantly warring with one another, and their wounded pride trips them up. They can't get out of their own way!

    Caroline throws herself a legendary birthday party, and we get an explosion of epic proportions. Liam is in rare form, lashing out and attacking viscously, obliterating anyone in his path.

    Caroline is so earth-shatteringly broken; she’s sick to her core, screaming out her pain. And the person there for her, her nemesis Van. The character development between these two girls is brilliant. I love the raw scenes they have.

    As the tale unwinds, you delve deeper into Caroline’s backstory and why she is so devastatingly mean. Her mother is unequivocally cruel to her, tearing her down. You realize Caroline has fought for every scrap. Her mother is horrific, and your heart breaks for her. Caroline's unhealthy way of coping with her mother’s cruelty exposes her deep-seated pain, allowing her humanity to shine through.

    There is a ton of angst in this book, and it’s darker than the first. I do love the way it wrapped up though. It’s another great read and I absolutely recommend!

    The spice was low in this book, last few chapters were all spice but pretty much the only spice. Plot was decent but felt pretty drug out for my true liking. The tension was high between Liam and Carebear, but I felt like I was on top of a rollercoaster for 350/400 pages. Not a terrible read, but not a favorite.

    Wow. What an intense and roll a coaster of a ride. We first met Liam and Caroline in Greys and Donovan’s story, Liam is a beautiful person with a good soul but Caroline was vicious and nasty, so it was nice to see that she was worth loving in this book. You can understand why she was so damaged and hateful of herself, as she has a witch of a mother!! What a cow!!!! Don’t read many YA books as a rule but rules are meant to be broken. Loved this.

    First up before I start gushing, I will admit I have a total girl crush on Caroline Whitmore. What a BAD girl! This girl is brutal (insert expletive!) You won't get some fairytale ending here where the bad girl redeems herself and turns into a well mannered princess, she stays her glorious bad self!

    Vicious Little Snakes was everything I was hoping it to be. This isn't a love story in the usual sense this is a two people are meant to be together because they fit together and form one soul, Liam and Carebear complete each other. They rip each other apart but they come together so gloriously.

    This book certainly packs some punches and Caroline is one of the more interesting FMCs I have read lately!
