    Slow burn erotica? Yes Please! I’ve got no idea if authors Quin and Perin invented it, but they’ve certainly perfected it.

    Bundled into one complete edition, Wanderlust starts off with a bang. The first half of the story focuses on the incredible connection building between Juste and Chase. Quin and Perin truly capture their scorching chemistry, not to mention the thoroughly delicious intimacies these authors write so well.

    Over their week together both men gradually come to realize how special their connection is. Sadly, neither are in a place where they can pursue a relationship. Juste lives in a community where a same-sex couple won’t be tolerated, and Chase has powerful personal issues he needs time to work through.

    Six years later Chase returns, full of self confidence and ready to embrace a future with his ideal lover. However, the years have changed Juste as well. While once completely engaged, this bright and vivid man has withdrawn, resigning himself to a lonely life.

    The second half of Wanderlust explores how the men react as Chase gently inserts himself back into Juste’s life. It’s incredibly moving to watch the transformation Juste makes as he comes to realize that love and happiness are possible in his future.

    Beautifully written, Quin and Perin cleverly alternate between both men’s points-of-view. Continually checking in with each of them provides interesting insight, and adds an additional layer of intimacy as we watch them processes events as they happen.

    A blend of tender romance and stunningly erotic physical intimacy, Wanderlust is a unique and powerful story which I highly recommend!

    Yes!! Finally the story of Chase and Juste continues! I was so disappointed when Chase left for new horizons in the first part of the story. There was so obviously something there! But I guess he just wasn’t ready yet to reach out for happiness. The timing was off… until it wasn’t anymore!

    Quin & Perin are the absolute best at mixing delicious smutty heat with those softer, more heartfelt emotions, which is exactly what they did with these two guys. Part 1 of Wanderlust starts out as a mellow, though steamy read where bartender Juste strikes up a very unlikely friendship with Chase, a stranger passing by Juste’s hometown. Juste is lonely, going through the motions and hiding in plain sight, afraid to come out of the closet. He finds a connection with Chase that lights up his life and heart, but sadly it doesn’t last and Chase, haunted by demons of his own, ends up leaving.

    In this eagerly awaited bundle, at last, we get to see these two men come together, acting on the scary, big feelings that have taken ahold of their hearts. Juste doesn’t make it easy for Chase, rightly so I feel. Juste understandably harbors some resentment and is hesitant to risk his heart, seeing no way forward for them as a couple. But he’s in luck! Chase is determined and very much in love. I really enjoyed seeing things work out for them this time around.

    Loved the epilogue and the sneak peek we got at another intriguing couple!

    There are 2 parts to the bundle.
    Wanderlust 1. Sympathy can open one's heart.
    A hitchhiker shuffles into a bar and endless possibilities are introduced.
    Chase is the stranger and Justie is the bartender. Their hearts are opened, desires are met, and uncertain endings come. Is this a HFN or just an ironic completion? The authors have left a curious ending. I did enjoy this story but was kinda unsatisfied. I wanted more of these two men. I bought this first book and rated it at 4 stars.
    Wanderlust 2:
    But then came Book 2 and my rating went up to 5 stars.
    Finally what started 6 years before is culminated here. And a deeply emotional and beautiful ending it is. Justi has been living in a vacuum for those 6 years longing for Chase to return but doubting he has anything to entice Chase to stay IF he does return. Chase is coming back BUT he must tie up the loose ends of his life first. Each emotionally returned/reconnected. Each saved the other beautifully. As an aside I received this Book #2 through Prolific Works for my very honest review.

    I loved everything about this slow burn, friends to lovers romance! I love the deep Southern setting and how the characters behavior fit the time and atmosphere of the story. The romance and heat were a constant low hum that ramped up steadily as the story progressed and finally culminated in a completely logical and believable way. I was literally rooting for the two MCs throughout the story and the HEA was a long satisfied sigh of happy!
    I love everything by these authors and this was no exception! Beautiful!

    In contrary to what I was used to with Quin Perin this book wasn't steamy hot, it was intense hot, sweet hot, and oh so amazing. I won't lie, my heart ached at parts, but let's face it... We need the ache. We need the sniffling. We need the moment when they reconnect. God, we need the pain to be all the more happy at the end, and Quin Perin did an INCREDIBLE job with this.
    If you are into slow burn and yet hot and steamy, all kinds of sexy and dreamy, GRAB THIS BOOK. Now.

    This sadly took me three days to finish because of course, life getting in the way. It’s definitely going to be a reread at some point so I can thoroughly enjoy it like I was supposed to in the first place. Juste and Chase are incredibly perfect for each other, I was so very upset when 6 years went by with them separated, but alas that is life. Loved the slow burn, of course it was hot, as only Quin and Perin can do. I was so very happy when the boys got that wonderfully deserved ending!
