We Will Reign is the first book in the new Wicked Boys of BCU series and can’t be read as a standalone. I loved Riley in Bastards of Boulder Cove and couldn’t wait for her story! And so far I’m loving it! I devoured this book in only about four hours…in one sitting! I couldn’t put it down! Riley is sassy, strong and fierce! Ridge is our stalker boy…and I love every possessive piece of him! Maddox has my heart and is a total marshmallow! And I’m not sure what to think about Lev yet. I need to know more of his story to figure him out. This book is full of mystery and is plot heavy. I can’t wait for the next book so I can have a deeper look into all of the characters! Also, I loved getting more of Scar, Crew, Neo, and Jagger!

    This book took me on an absolute rollercoaster ride of emotions!!! It gave me everything I needed plus more! It is stalker, secret societies, spice, murder, mystery, love triangle, and DRAMA!

    Ridge is my favorite character in this book and my heart is absolutely breaking for him. Although he might be a little unhinged at times he still has a heart of gold and does whatever necessary to protect his angel Riley. He even breaks his own heart for the sake of her happiness. Have I mentioned how much I freaking love ridge 😭

    The whole first half of the book I really loved Maddox, ridges best friend. However, from about half way through to the end I was struggling to like him. I would even go as far to say that I hate him at this point. I’m sorry Maddox!

    As for ole Riley.. I liked her at first. I felt her pain and I sympathized with her. I understand why she was distant and hesitant, I truly do. However, I don’t know how in the world she could do what she is doing and be fine with it. I want to like her so bad but I just can’t because of the hurt and betrayal she has put ridge and now me through LOL.

    As for the other best friend to ridge and Maddox, Lev, I really like him! I know he is dark and mysterious and meant to be scary but I like that he calls Riley on her bull crap. Also I think he might be a bigger part in the next book. I hope I am wrong about him I truly do but I think I might now like him in the next book. If so I am going to cry for real.

    As for Riley’s BFF, scar, I like her and I think she is a great friend to Riley! However I’m worried one of her harem boyfriends is out to get Riley! I’m not certain on this idea like I said this a mystery book and we are all trying to solve this murder mystery together so we shall see in the next book !

    I know I said above that I do not like Riley and Maddox but that is just me speaking out of hurt and anger at this moment lol. I’m hoping in the next book it will be a happy ending for all of them! I cannot wait to read the next book.

    If you haven’t read it yet, you are definitely missing out! Rachel Leigh NEVER disappoints! That’s a fact ❤️

    We Will Reign is the first novel of the BCU series! After reading the BCA series I was very excited to jump into the college scene with this group.

    This series can be read as a standalone. Readers do not need to read BCA series; however, it gives so much more background to the story and is just as delicious.

    To start I love seeing Scar and her boys again showing up in this series and going strong. I love them.

    The main FMC of this novel is Riley Cross, Guardian, best friend and roomie to Scarlett Sunder from the BCA series, strong, caring, and fierce 19 year old who has dealt with some trauma. She is determined to take back her life and enjoy college to become the best guardian. Until she sees those eyes. Watching her. Everywhere she goes.

    All he sees is her. The girl that put the breath back in his lungs. The girl who pulled him from darkness. The girl that is “the only star in his sky” ✨ She became his everything when they never even had a conversation yet. However, that was about to change. Ridge is a bit much sometimes. He is a little unhinged. Very much stalking Riley. Through the psychotic pandemonium parts of him Ridge very obviously cares deeply truly and obsessively about Riley. His life is now for her. What happens when she is also the star “shining in someone else’s sky”? What happens when obsession goes to far? Will Riley ever feel what he feels for her?

    Maddox and Lev are not huge characters in this story. Maddox definitely more is than Lev. They are the best friends/like brothers and roommates to Ridge. They all put each other and their oath to one another first. Lev is a very intimidating, dark, and broody person. He threatens Riley on several occasions and is not one to be messed with. All he sees is darkness. However, he is very loyal to his boys. Maddox on the other hand is the sweet and caring one, not only towards Riley but for his friends. Also like Riley, he is a guardian set to protect and honor his mission. Where will his mission take him?

    I can’t wait for the next release in the series!!

    🖤 This book I nearly DNF’d - but I am grateful that I didn’t because it FINALLY found its turning point. Please give this a chance. It’s a bit slow in the beginning and trying to keep everything together and understanding how each character fits in does take a bit of mental gymnastics but it is worth it.

    💛 This is considered why choose … however it takes a bit to get to the “choosing” parts. This book mainly focuses on the MMC Ridge who is completely and utterly obsessed with the FMC Riley. Very very OTT H. So be prepared for this.

    🖤 Riley kind of drives me a bit nuts. I do NOT like her friend Scar whatsoever in this book. It keeps being brought up that Scar is this “good friend” - and I can see where she tries but she is the WORST. Like she leaves her best friend for her own harem for 🌶️ time while Riley is being assaulted and demeaned and all she can say is “sorry”. I can’t stand friends like this. Then she gets all overhearing like she’s trying to make up for stuff and I’m like BISH YOU ARENT HER MOM.

    💛 The Secret Society is The Blue Bloods - Riley & Maddox being guardians while Ridge is a sleuth - Lev I believe is an enforcer I forgot what they named him but he’s literally off his rocker and I didn’t like him much in this book. Didn’t really care for Ridge either lol but Maddox …. That man could get it.

    🖤 I enjoyed this book once the story started to evolve so I think if you give it a chance you’ll enjoy it too!

    Holy smokes, this book doesn't take long to get going. This story is basically the aftermath and fallout from Sebastian Saints' death and the few elders that want the truth.
    Ridge has been given the task of finding out what happened to ensure the person in question pays, but instead, he falls for Riley and is determined to protect her at all cost. Maddox is a fellow guardian, and his dad wants Riley to pay, but Maddox has also fallen for the lovely Riley.

    It quickly becomes clear that someone is trying to frame Riley for more murders but the boys have vowed to protect her at all costs except Lev, who wants her gone.
    Riley threatens the only family Lev has, his boys, and he wants her gone. He also has proof, but how far will he go?

    This series is so good. I honestly can't stop straight into book 2. I need all the answers.
    Outstanding writing, as always from Rachel Leigh, her books are gold.

    A secret society, a murder passed off as suicide, and a number of emotionally damaged men/boys are all messing with Riley's peace of mind.
    This is a strange story, and I suspect that some people will love it. There's no HEA, there's not even an ending as such, and the romance is in short supply. I'm left feeling uncertain.
