Another terrific mystery in this series! This time Madigan and her fiancée are on a holiday. They're supposed to be resting, relaxing and doing nothing more than coming up with a name for the new zoo and, possibly, a wedding date. What could be more simple, right?
Unfortunately, that doesn't happen. They get pulled into doing some work for the nearby aquatic park and trouble soon breaks out. There's a documentary film company that's not exactly what it pretends to be, a protest group laying siege to the park entrance, an injured shark, trouble with Madi's new publisher and a murder.
What's a girl to do? Madi does what she does best - puts her problem solving skills to work! This was an enjoyable story with a slower pace than previous books. The combination of new faces and places mixed with old familiar characters creates a wonderful read from start to finish.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought the book! I highly recommend it to any and all.

Another great story in the Madigan Amos Zoo Mysteries. Will Madi and Auryn finally get a vacation? A well written mystery, this story has the usual characters, some new characters, lots of humor, murder, jealousy and suspense. I always rush to devour the next book - usually in one sitting - and then moan because it is over. There are suspects galore, animals to help, and many road blocks in Madi's path. You will be entertained.

This is the 3rd book I have read in the Madigan Amos Zoo Mysteries, the introductory book and book 6 and 7. They just get better with each book. Madigan, the head of the zoo, and her fiancee Auryn go on a vacation, but can't escape murder and mayhem while trying to enjoy themselves. I was surprised who the murderer was but won't give away the way Madigan dealt with the problem. Now I need to go back and read book 1 to 5 !

She tries to go on a vacation with her fiance Auryn, but it doesn't quite work out that way. Between a crazy publicist, a documentary being filmed and a aquatic marine rescue zoo, things get crazy. This one kept me on my toes in trying to figure out who the murderer was. I love this series.

    Another great Madigan Zoo story.

An interesting new twist that the friends' zoo they visit is a Marine park.

Raises interesting questions about education and entertainment utilizing creatures that couldn't survive elsewhere.

Add in jealousy, romance, spies, eco terrorists and a comic book.

Always a new twist and a new laugh along with some new insights and humor.

    Can't wait for the wedding!

5.0 out of 5 stars Madi and Auryn go marine in Majorca.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 10, 2018
For this the 7th in the Madigan Amos Zoo series, MAdi and her fiancee Auryn have travelled to Majorca (or Mallorca if you prefer the Spanish spelling) for a well deserved holiday, it's no coincidence that a friend of Auryn's runs a marine park there. Mix in a controversial decision about a great white shark, a documentary being filmed by a very anti-zoo presenter and Madi's fame as a comic book artist following her over there with a very enthusiastic (and accident-prone) publicity agent and you have the makings of an exciting couple of weeks. However, as usual things get even more complicated by a murder and the arrival of some old acquaintances from previous books.
As marine animals aren't Madi's expertise, there isn't quite as much detail on the animals in this book as there has been in previous ones, but the story and the characters are as well defined and described as always, and this book is definitely up there with the best of the series so far, and that is saying quite a lot, as I think that this is the best British cosy mystery series around at the moment.
I did receive an advance copy of the book from the author, but I bought a copy anyway, as I enjoyed it so much and I wanted to support Ms. Loren.

Another great book, Ive read all the books in the series and they never disappoint. Great storyline well written with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end.
Madi and Auryn have gone to mallorca for a bit or relaxation or so they hope, Auryn meets up with one of his friends from a marine park but they are having a few problems with protestors after keeping a shark their so one thing leads to another and youve got a murder .
carnt wait for the next book.

Who would have thought a comic book could bring so much trouble! Madi and Auryn had no idea what would happen when they took a much needed break in Mallorca.

Another good story from Ruby Loren. Loved it. Lots going on, very enjoyable.
