    This is the story of Cade and Pierce. I loved this book. It is written wonderfully with great characters. It is filled with drama, action and interesting twists and turns that keeps you turning the pages, which makes for a fast paced read. The chemistry is unbelievable. This one draws you in and you just have to finish it. Can't wait for the next one.

    Wolf Betrayed is the second book in the Blessed Shifters Trilogy by author CJ Vosse. I love this series. It is fast-paced, full of love, and is introducing me to a world I want more of. This book is part of a series, but I think it can be read as a standalone and understood just fine.
    This story is written in dual POV. I like how the author does that, they are very good at blending both POVS and not making me feel lost or flip-flopping.
    Cade, we met in the first book. I liked getting to know him more in this story. He is in a new pack; he is a fighter and stronger than even he knows.
    I liked his blend of strength and heart. Makes him very lovable.
    Pierce, he is a fox shifter. Smart and loyal. He is very much his own person. I liked how protective of those he loves he is and how he is strong but in need of love.
    Lots of plot twists in this story. Again, the world is done so well I want more!! I cannot wait for the third book in this series. So much is happening, and I want to see how it all turns out in the end.

    I enjoyed reading this fascinating wolf shifter romance. It is the second book in the series “Blessed Shifters” there are some character crossovers but this book is standalone. The story-line & plot is interesting, well-thought out & written. The characters are unique individuals who struggle with personal & emotional issues as they continue to develop throughout the story-line.
    It is about: a male wolf shifter (Cade) comes into contact with a male fox shifter (Pierce) & although they tend to disagree about certain things, they discover that they are forming a mating bond & Pierce will have to decide where his loyalties lie.
    There is: various kinds of shifters, vampires, hunters, humans, teleportation knots, spell casters (The Vulture Cabal), mages, warlocks, paranormal freedom fighters (The Silent), a human free army (HFA), family issues, trust issues, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, adventure, action, attractions, a true mate bond, mystery, magic, danger, threats, villains/enemies, conflict, violence, deceit, betrayal, confrontations, defiance, disagreements, manipulations, decisions, memories, devious plans, war/battles, romance, love, some steam, happiness & a rather unusual conclusion. I really would recommend this wolf shifter romance to people who like to read this genre.

    This is the second book in the Blessed Shifters trilogy. I am very pleased to report that the writing is much more action driven & far less wordy than book 1 on the series, Wolf Hunted.
    I liked the mate interactions between Fox (Pierce) & Caden. Both had differing backgrounds & life philosophies. Both had much to overcome before their HEA reached a resolution that was believable.
    I enjoyed the plotting of this story as it flowed so much more succinctly than book one. The secondary characters were quite interesting & I think I have a good idea of who will be third Blessed Shifter. I hope the final book is released so the final battle against the Big Evil can commence.
    One quick side note: I don't want anyone to think I hated Wolf Hunted, book 1 in the series because I didn't. It just irritated me that it had so many wordy descriptive scenes that bloated the book. I thoroughly enjoyed the concept but I kept wanting the story to get just on with it. Thankfully, Wolf Betrayed is a taut action filled shifter romance.

    This is book 2 in the series and can be read as a standalone. Characters from book 1 do make an appearance and the author summarises the gist of what happened in book 1, making it easier to follow.

    Cade’s torn between his loyalty to his family and his mate. Will he figure out what’s more important before he loses the most precious thing in his life?

    Cade and Pierce’s mate bond pulses to life from the moment their eyes meet. Their connection was strong but delicate especially, as both needed to gain each other’s trust. Their past was explored really well, giving you a glimpse of why and how they became to be in their existing crew.

    This was an action packed instalment and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
