Wolf's Endgame: The Blackridge Peak Series (Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 556 ratings

Just when I thought I could finally find my place and belong in a pack, fate had other plans. The sting of betrayal cut deep.

As the dust settled from the devastating blow that threatened to shatter the fragile trust between Cannon and me, we both struggled to confront the harsh realities of our world. Fueled by a thirst for revenge, my heart was torn between the hunger for retribution and the longing for reconciliation.

As I prepared to fight for my pack, I knew the stakes had been raised, and everything was on the line. At every turn, danger threatened, and with each step forward, uncertainty hung in the air—not only ahead, but also within.

Knowing I had yet to face my most formidable adversary, I realized it was time to reclaim what was rightfully mine. I wasn’t running anymore.

It was time to fight…and win the ultimate end game.

Eve L. Mitchell is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary, new adult, and paranormal romance. Known for her morally gray alpha-holes, slow-burn tension, and emotional punches, her books are deeply addictive and perfect for those who crave romance with an edge. A reader first, a writer second (but don’t tell her characters that), Eve lives in the North East of Scotland with her three coffee machines (one is never enough) and her significant other. When not writing, she can be found watching the NFL (or impatiently waiting for the next season), or conspiring with the voices in her head.

This book 3of this shifter series. And the Pack goes after Bale and his pack. But what will happen to everyone Kez and Cannon her alpha, Kris and his mate Cass and Landon. Read this last book to answer your question and see them get a happy ending.

When I read a series I almost never finish it. As a jaded reader of so many romance novels, I'm mostly in it for the toxic romance and usually by book 3 those issues are resolved and it's just plot development, which I don't care about too much. But this series had toxic twists til almost the very end, and the plot managed to surprise me several times too. This is now one of my all time favorites.

I really enjoyed the series and the story development. However, by the end of the 3rd book, the FMC didn’t seem to actually learn anything with her rash choices, not actually listening to her mate and only thinking of herself.

    SPOILER BELOW:

She is mate bonded and an equal alpha, asked to stay back with her new pack to keep THEM safe as the alpha and authority because the rest of the pack was going to war. She was even told the importance of why she needed to stay back. But instead of listening and thinking about the pack, she was selfish and left them unprotected because she didn’t like being told to stay behind. She was left in charge and her first choice was to rebel and leave the pack on their own. I would’ve thought her actions and learning how her fighting humans in the fight ring would’ve matured her some, but honestly it put a bad taste in my mouth for the character. She endangered the pregnant mate of her brother, endangered the pack that was left behind, endangered herself, her mate, her brother and any pack that wasn’t expecting her there at the fighting. There were zero repercussions after. She was severely injured yes, but there was still no maturity growth or lesson learned. It was like it was just swept under the rug as if her choice was no big deal because she got injured. It turned an otherwise great book into 3 stars and ruined the ending.

Why would the author not tie this detail up? Her mate was so furious the pack felt it through the bond. It was a serious breach of trust. How could the alpha or the pack truly trust she had THEIR best interests and safety at heart when she wasn’t even willing to stay behind the one time she was entrusted to be a leader and instead left for her own personal reasons? That is not a “Luna” or “alpha equal partner”. That is just selfish. Even Cannon felt that way. Glossing over it like it never happened because everyone was just so happy she came out of her “coma” (that she put herself in with her selfish choices) was a huge mistake in my opinion and the character arc never completely matured or grew effectively.

The black ridge Peak Series was a really good series. A lot of twists and turns. This series has quite a bit of challenges with different shifter’s view. Wolves, Sharman, Druid, and Spirits showed a new level of shifters in this story. There was so many elements that played a role in this series, a big one was silver. I enjoyed these three book.

The series has a good story line. But author could have worked on it a little more. Lots of repetition to the point of irritation
That repetition took off the complete impact the series otherwise had

A bittersweet end to an unputdownable series. I loved every word of this fated mates romance.
Their undeniable chemistry, their fight against it and the coming together was such a delight to read.
Wolf's Endgame starts off dark and adrenalin pumping and continues throughout. Facing enemies and awaiting judgement gives an edge to the story. However the edge doesn't cut as deep with the coming together of mates, building a home and a family.

Wolf’s Endgame by Eve L. Mitchell is the third and final book in the epic and page turning conclusion to The Blackridge Peak Series.

This paranormal shifter romance had me hooked from the first book and the conclusion was perfect ending to the series.

Cannon and Kezia’s level of crazy, strength, nonsense and revenge are on par with each other. Whilst independently they are strong, together they’re unstoppable and we finally get to see that in the final book of the series.

Once again the emotion and twists sucked me into the world created by Eve L. Mitchell. The levels of emotion expressed through both Kezia and Cannon’s POV’s and the impact of other characters, was fantastically written. The actions taken throughout the story had me on the edge of my seat wanting to see how battles and levels of deception would be overcome, and how their romance would end.

Overall I really loved this series and Wolf’s Endgame didn’t disappoint in how it ended.
