I Loved this book!
I love all of Chandelle’s books but this was extremely good. It had lots of spicy scenes which made the love story even better! I don’t want to give any spoilers in my review, but the soulmate ceremony was my favorite part of the book. Having read all of the Coven books, that was my favorite soulmate ceremony. I loved learning how the shifters live their every day lives. Inez was a great main character. I love that she speaks Spanish. I was at the edge of my seat at some parts of the book and shocked at other parts but all in all it was a great book. I was very impressed! Chandelle’s books are the best!

    After reading Chandelle’s books it is so hard for me to read anything else! I adore her work! I have read them all 3 times and a few of my favorites more! This is the newest one that I have read and it did not disappoint.
    The books are well written and entertaining! The characters are believable and relatable! This one isn’t my favorite, but I liked it. I am just attached to certain characters. The book introduces some new characters and answers some questions that come up in other books.

    There are parts that I was cracking up over though and to be honest there are parts of her books that I sniff and few tears fall a little here and there. Great range of emotions to be felt! There are so many side stories and things going on that you will want to read them multiple times. It’s like a new book every time I read them!

    I wouldn’t let my kids (my oldest is 16) read these books, but we tend to run on the side of caution when sexual subjects or violence are present. Chandelle’s books have gradually added a little more mature subject matter with each one.

    All and all I love her stuff! I can’t wait for more! I get them free on Amazon Kindle Unlimited, but I prepay to get the new ones! Read them!!!!!

    I love all of Chandelle's books and this is no exception. I ordered as soon as I saw it come available for pre-order and read it the day I got it!

    The main character, Inez, is funny, quirky and entertaining. I love that this character is a bit older than most of the teens in the original Coven series, as it allows for a more detailed history and character relationships. Chandelle is great at creating characters that you fall in love with without even realizing it... you laugh with them, cry, feel their frustration and their love. And she's a master of the twists 😂 you think you know BUT YOU DON'T KNOW and it really keeps you going... this book is no different!

    For those commenting on the language in the book, Inez is from Spain, her first language is Spanish, which also helps in building the believability of the character and I love how big of a part it plays in the book... because it's part of HER. I am not a Spanish speaker, but the kindle translate did help, and also helped me realize the parts in Spanish didn't take away from the story even if you don't know the language because Chandelle is a master of her craft and everything else surrounding it sets the stage to understand what is happening perfectly. I actually prefer this to books where they say something in another language then repeat in English... to me that is duplicative and annoying lol.

    Overall…. 4/5 stars. It was good and I’m glad I finished it. But there were several points in the book that I considered abandoning it. Parts of the book were just too slow for me. Facts right in front of them were ignored and I felt the tension between the main love interests was too stretched out. Some sections I ended up skimming through because they didn’t seem beneficial to the story. Eventually the love interests FINALLY truly discovered each, allowing the book to pick up momentum.

    Overall, yes I would recommend the book. Just with the advice to be patient and see it through. I would consider this a slow burn.

    Well, she did it again! I fell in love with Inez and Foster and loved their friendship from the start. They just seemed to fit as soon as they met and it was such a ride to get to the end. As always, it was great to see some of our beloved friends and I really enjoyed seeing more of Issale. I can't wait for their season! While this is a standalone, I really hope we get to see Inez and Foster again as they were just so fun. The hot and spicy factor was a definite departure from her other books but it was a fun departure and as much as I love all of her other books, I really liked the spice factor too! The Spanish shown in the book was not a distraction and it added to the story. Even thought my last Spanish class was in high school over 30 years ago, I definitely understood the context of what was being said and I loved the diversity of the foreign language. If you are already a Coven fan, you will not be disappointed but even if you have never read the Coven books before (and you better run to start from the beginning), you won't be lost. Great job, Chandelle. I can't wait until your next treasure!

    Chandelle Is a LaVaun never fails to delight! The book will take you on a roller coaster.

    Once I opened this book I immediately found myself drawn into the world and was unable to put it down. There’s action, deceit, and a whirlwind of drama that has you clinging to the edge of your seat asking wtf just happened more than once!
    I was iffy and unsure as the Spanish threw me for a loop but as I continued reading I found that it didn’t affect the story line overall.
    Inez is a breath of fresh air, she’s relatable she confident in her own skin and even when she’s thrown into new situations she tackles it head on. I can’t wait for the shifter series and to see how her story and the rest of shifter land plays out in the coven series.

    As for why I only did 4 of 5 stars. I found most of the Coven series to be Pg-13 and safe to be read by younger audiences this one has spice and for a more mature audience

    Update: changed my review as she loves her fans so much that she now offers a pg-13 version to us as well

    It was nice to finally get a good look at Issale and other characters that live there. The main character is original from spain, so she sometimes speaks spanish. It was no problem for me, but the next time i read the book i will probably translate it for fun. Overall another great book in the hole Coven series and I can’t wait for the next one! 10/10 🥰

    Enchanted by Inez, her family and Foster. The choice of using Spanish texts just enrich the narrative and approaches the reader to Inez. Through it she shows her real self, her spontaneity and character and it’s great to “see” people’s reaction. It’s wonderful to have this story separated from the coven’s ones. It helps the reader to get acquainted with the environment where important key characters such as Koth lives, their way of life. Inez’ journey through her new role shows her interaction with the world of wolves and dragons, their struggles to survive all menaces and their respect to all living creatures, to nature, being Foster her guide to it. Hope to meet Inez and Foster again, working with the coven.
