About the Author

Arba Pema was born and raised in one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, Albania. Growing up she loved to read lots of children books. Her favourite children's book of all times is Grimms' Fairy Tales, originally known as The Children's and Household Tales.At the age of 18, Arba moved in Peterborough, Ontario to continue her undergraduate studies at Trent University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After her undergraduate studies, she also completed a continuing education program in Business Administration and Human Resources at Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario. Upon completion of her academics, she built her career in the banking industry.Her hobbies are reading, travelling writing and illustrating children's books.Arba currently lives in Newfoundland, Canada in the beautiful Humber Valley Resort where she gets most of her inspiration to write her children stories.

Barbara Cornick was born and raised in Pasadena, Newfoundland. One of thirteen children, she spent most of her childhood exploring the great outdoors. She married young and raised eight children. Barbara has been telling stories to her grandchildren for many years and this book is one of her favourite stories she told. Beside the fact that she adores children, Barbara also enjoys outdoor activities such as long walks and appreciating nature by feeding birds, maintaining the areas around clean, planting flowers and growing vegetables.
