    Carter just keeps making me love him more throughout this series! I loved the person he became in the last book and this book only made me love him a million times more.
    In this book Tye is still dealing with the loss of her best friend Davi after it came out in the last book Jase was innocent. She is looking to wreak havoc for who she believes is the culprit for her friend dying. Tye’s revenge tactics start off so immature that I literally hated her in the beginning!! Carter took it all because he knows what she is dealing with and he would take her wrath then her ever knowing the truth of what actually happened to Davi knowing that one she finds out it will break her. It’s not until her last revenge tactics is so out of control that Carter takes starts taking control as it’s what she needs. Once they start hanging out she slowly starts to show her “softer side” ( I use that lightly cause after you learn she can be bad @ss! 😂)
    And once news of something from her past comes to light she will need the comfort of someone being there for her.
    Carter was her rock even at times she didn’t want to accept it. Just like he promised her, he was always there to save her!! It’s so hard to imagine high school Carter and the Carter we have seen in the last 2 books!! Character growth beyond what I could expect! He is an amazing friend and a great partner to Tye.
    Can I just say I love the Carter and Jase’s bromance!! Co dependence at its finest! ❤️ 😂

    It's not often that a book make me laugh out loud so many times ...the things she did to him to prank him I was in TEARS!!! Literally! I laughed so hard and I reread certain parts I was CRYING!!! This book is fantastic. Didn't know what to think of the description... I loved loved loved this book! I love Carter. There were times I felt bad for him or he upset me in other books in the series he was in but I always enjoyed him even if he was a bit of a rich prick. Now ... I love him. I want him. I need his caveman possessive never let me down, always be there for me ways. He's my new book boyfriend. Next installment should be interesting .... Easton has major things to make up for. But I cared for him to at one point while in hs... not so much during college. But thus author has a way of making me fall in love with these men ... Hendrix... Ashton... Knox... Cade... now Carter.

    Kelsey Clayton has written another amazing read in The North Haven University Series. We get to go deeper into the story of Carter & Tye and there are somethings you never see coming but seeing how it all unfurls will have you wanting them to find a reason to be happy.
    They will go through so many emotional turbulent ups and downs, angst, hatred, fear and maybe even love but it is going to take a lot of trust to get them there.
    If there is two people who deserve to overcome everything that they have had to endure its Carter & Tye but watching them get there is going to definitely have you sitting on the edge of your seat at times and knowing that it’s going to be one heck of a ride makes it that more interesting to watch.     My review of the last book left with a missing detail and I chastised the author. I feel bad now. But, if the author would have lead the reader that the detail would be revealed in this book, I would have been cool with it. But if you read the previous book, know the missing detail is explained thoroughly in this book. Overall, I loved the story of Carter and Tye. Some laugh out loud moments for sure!

    Our heroine is portrayed as bratty rich girl but keep reading. You will find a backstory filled with so many hidden truths. This hero is probably takes martyrdom to an extreme but I still kinda get it. He still makes for an awesome White Knight. Wink.

    This author does a good job taking flawed characters and make them redeemable. The twist is the heroine is the one taking on that role

    So yeah if you like bully romance stories with an enemies to lovers foundation, this book is for you. I love the magical college tribe surrounding our couple. Yeah… you know what that means. More storylines. Wink.

    We finally pulled all the layers of Carter finally exposing the true swoony book boyfriend that he is. A man that even after all Tye did he still loved her anyway.

    I don’t know that I’m ready to say goodbye to this crew with the final book but with an ending like this one how can I not dive right in!

    The title to this book was so incredibly and utterly fitting because it wrecked my plans until the moment I read those last two words. THE END.

    This book was phenomenal, and it had absolutely everything that I love in my books. This author knows exactly what she’s doing and how to write a story. I couldn’t imagine how hard Tye and Carter story would have been for this author to write.

    Tye is a character unlike any character this author has created but i feel that she’s a combination of Knox and Tessa.

    Tye is a woman on a mission, she’s seeking REVENGE for the death of the one person who meant everything to her. Her BEST FRIEND and who better than to point fingers and dish all she can at the guy who she thinks and wants to believe had something to do with it.

    Let me just tell you, all is not what it seems and when the truth comes out. It’s going to change things between our two main characters.

    Our guy Carter, the man with the finger pointed at him is the guy who hasn’t been the same since finding himself face to face with Tye again, he just wants to protect her and be there for her, even if that means copping and accepting all that is thrown at him.

    At times I grew frustrated in the why. Why is he just letting her do all of this to him, why won’t he take control but deep down you knew the real reason. His love, his need to be there and protect her made all of what she has done blur.

    Although a question remains, will these two be able move on from this loss and be able to give up something real that they have?

    We get more of an insight of Carter’s story and of course behind Tye as she was a mystery in a whole. Her story absolutely broke me because all she’s known is pain and how ugly the world can be.

    This book I found it to be a book that could strip you emotionally bare and give you and raw and real vibe as you delve deeper and deeper inside. Together these two have a lot to fight for especially if they want each other, they have a lot to work through physically and emotionally. Their story isn’t easy but not every story is.

    Together these two were incredibly in sync, they have a connection that has spanned over years and seems to be growing and growing each time they are together. Besides all the hate and anger, their is so much love and when these two finally work past it all. It’s so incredibly beautiful and powerful.

    If you want a book that flows like a roller coaster ride with all the highs, lows, twist and turns then this book will be for you but also add in the fire, fun and the feels and you have yourself a book you are going to want to read.

    I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series especially with Easton and Kennedy and what was spilled at the end of this book.

    Having read the rest of the series and falling in love with every character, I really wasn't sure how I felt about The coming in and wrecking the flow or friendship, but my gosh, she had worked her way in, much like Lennon, and I frikkin love her. In fact with each new read I think I've found my favourite couple. Mind you I'm already worried I won't feel for Easton and Kennedy like the rest of the crew. Mut knowing Kelsey I will be hooked within the first few chapters. Another hugely recommend read!

    Tye had the worst childhood until she was saved by her best friend, Davianna and her parents. When Davi dies (in the previous book), Tye is lost, angry and blames it all on her best friend's ex, Carter. She is on the edge, self-destructing with alcohol and decides to seeks revenge on Carter by pulling pranks on him, that ultimately get out of hand.
    Carter has always had a thing for Tye. He feels guilty for Davi's death and he is keeping a big secret from Tye, in order to spare her more heartbreak. Her pranks leave him unfazed. He treats her really well and never gives up on their relationship.
    I liked both characters, their youthful interactions and banter, the flow of the story, how the small time jumps and angsty moments were handled by the author. It is a bit forbidden as it is based on a (dead) best friend's ex trope. But the premise is done pretty well so I had no issues with the taboo part of their relationship.
    I will definitely pick up more books from this author.

    I love the North Haven series and this was another good one. I've been wanting Carter's story for a while and also wanting to know more about what happened in Florida! Carter was kinda an ass in HS but I have loved him at NHU. He is such a good friend and deserves happiness.  At first I had a love/hate for Tye but the more you get to know her, you see her perspective.  They definitely are an excellent duo and am excited for the next one with that evil hint at the end.
