- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2019The story progresses pretty quickly. It doesn't have a lot of pages and the main character progresses at a heightened pace. The way that he progresses is interesting and the story behind the cultivation and RPG elements is fairly interesting. If you want a quick read and are willing to fill in the words yourself for what the author meant instead of what is literally on the page, then you have an interesting and fast paced book. I am concerned that the main character developed enough near the end of the book that the second book would be difficult to enjoy because the main character would be too powerful.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020I liked the story and the characters. The cultivation aspect was good and the story progressed well. I did notice a few grammar and spelling errors which are easy mistakes. But overall a great start.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2020Liked the story. It was a little on the short side but two more are finished and waiting to be read. I normally ignore the OP whining, but after after reading thousands of pages of other wuxia where the supposed powerful MC struggles endlessly against those who are are a level or two higher. Then.......after finally catching up and winning, it starts all over with our knee-jerk hero endlessly struggling to beat the new bullies which again are a couple levels higher, over and over again mixed in with millions of pages of discription, I feel endless frustration. With all that said, I'm really hopelessly hooked on Wuxia but like some others, this one is better.
I like the way the author keeps it moving and the MC kicks other's behinds brutally but in a graceful manner! The grammer will improve and I'm looking forward to following this author. This story is different in a good way.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2020If the rating system allowed I would have given this 4.5 stars. I can’t bring myself to do that because of how bad the translation was and how short the book was.
The translation was distracting as well. I new to expect that from previous reviews, but found it was worse than I was prepared for.
These 2 points aside I really enjoyed the book. I like the skill set the MC has. It’s interesting but also has weak points (trial stage 2). Will probably try out book 2 in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2021I enjoyed the progression of the MC but some of the explanation did not make sense. But over all I liked it and will read the next one.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2022Good start of a series. There are some issues like missing pieces to some sentences sometimes a single word other times felt like it was missing key points. Other than that I enjoyed the story had me laughing or cheering for the MC a lot of the time
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2019Speed leveling. This definitely feels like the intro to a much larger story. Characters are introduced at events are set into motion. I'll be diving into the next book immediately.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2020I've read a lot of bad reviews for this book. Let me say that I have read a ton of cultivation novels and this one is better than most. Writing a 100 pages and calling it a book is a bit much though. It's more of a short story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good but could’ve been better
The book has a rather interesting plot with an undeniably op Mc but is still worth reading the only issue being some grammatical errors and a lack of proper explanation of the cultivation system of the universe

5.0 out of 5 stars Good series!
The MC character is enjoyable, and the pace of the book is fast. I can't wait for the next books, specially after that ending.
