    From the beginning of this book I knew I was in for a wild ride. Marco a homicide detective is called In to verify a woman locked in handcuffs to a bed. For Amelia this was a one night stand that didn't work out. Marco and Amelia are drawn to each other. They cannot stop thinking about each other. Marco goes to a Bar at a hotel. There's a snow storm so he books a room and orders an appetizer and drink. Amelia walks in and they get to drinking and she helps eat his nachos. Marco is so drawn to Amelia and asks her to spend the night with him. After a night of mind blowing sex they part ways but the connection is still there. Marco was betrayed by his high school sweetheart. She cheated on him with his cousin Antonio which left Marco scarred and not trustful of women. Love his big Italian family. Especially his grandma who had me laughing. Amelia is keeping a secret from Marco. In order to save her family's business she has to marry the son of her grandfather's business partner Owen who is a total snake. They go through some struggles but are finally together. Especially liked the epilogue. So in love with this story. 😍

    I enjoyed 90% of this book. I really liked Marco, and I enjoyed the way his relationship with Amelia developed. Even though it was fast, it didn't seem that way. I also loved Marco's family.

    The 10% I didn't like was the whole situation with Owen. Amelia was strong & independent for most of the book, but when it came to fulfilling an obligation to her grandfather, she became weak. The whole situation really distracted me from loving this book & the relationship Marco & Amelia were developing. The OW drama was also an eye roll distraction that didn't make sense to me either.

    But that was only 10% of the book. I really enjoyed every other part of the book. I started this series backwards, and now I'm going to read the first book in the series. I really enjoy the way the author tells her stories and pulls you in from the beginning.

    There were too many typos. It was distracting. This read like a cute first draft but needs editing and refining. The last part of the book was rushed and too cliché. I wonder if this book was written using dictation because some typos were similar words, such as “next store neighbor” instead of next door neighbor. A good editor would have been able to catch all those instances. If it only happened once, I wouldn’t have docked stars, but it happened frequently and made me roll my eyes every time. The weirdest thing was when there were sentences that were clearly meant to say one thing but accidentally said the opposite because of a double negative. Hopefully the author hires an editor to revise this book.

    From their rather unusual first encounter, Marco and Amelia’s connection is strong and sets the book on fire. But they have their secrets that keep popping up that threaten their romance.

    I really liked this book by an author that I was not familiar with. Books that have a hot, Italian cop as the lead tend to be something I gravitate towards. And Marco fits that bill perfectly. I did find his reasonings behind why he avoids relationships rather ridiculous. Then again, Amelia’s resigning herself to a sham marriage out of family loyalty is just as bad. I will say that I like that she is written as a strong, female character.

    I always look forward to reading books by this author as I love her style of writing and this book was exactly the same for me I loved it from the very first chapter I couldn't t put down. This romance book is a real opposites attract as they both come from two different worlds but they will do anything for love.
    This is Amelia and Marco love story and is one you will not want to miss.

    Amelia is an extremely hard working woman who has always been very dedicated to everything she does especially her work. When a date goes a tad funky and she is in a sticky spot and Marco comes to help her out of an extremely embarrassing moment. Marco is a very sexy Italian cop and you will love him and all his family. He has always protected his heart after a bad break up but when these two meet there is an instant attraction and the chemistry between them both is undeniable. They both have loyalties and Amelia is afraid that if she finally after years goes after what she wants then this will upset her family ans she doesn't know if it will just be worth it.

    I absolutely loved these characters and I really enjoyed reading about them and there love story. Once I started reading it I couldn't wait to see how this was going to pan out. The reader will be able to connect to this story fully as it flows throughout. I loved the twists and the drama and all the heat and the moments that had me laughing but I felt completely invested in there love story and I highly recommend everyone reads this book and this authors previous books too because they rock. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

    So, to begin with, S. Jones is a new-to-me author (I LOVE discovering new authors to fall in love with) and I couldn't WAIT to dive into Whatever You Need. The blurb got me interested, the writing made me sit up and take notice, but it was the story that hooked me! I LOVED Marco and Amelia's story so much! From the meet-cute (which was hilarious and embarrassing at the same time) to the epilogue that had me sighing in contentment, I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The character development was great and it had the perfect amount of angst and drama, the chemistry between Marco and Amelia was INSANE!!! I loved some of the secondary characters, particularly Marco's family and fellow cops! However, I did find Amelia's mother (well, her attitude change, specifically) rather unbelievable. It doesn't help that I disliked her IMMENSELY (putting it mildly!) but I loved how strong and unwavering Amelia became when pushed into a corner!

    All in all, I thought this book was an AWESOME first read from an author who I DEFINITELY will be looking for more from! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves a one-night-stand that turns into sooooooo much more!
