    This was a really heartwarming story of an unsatisfied wife being caught by her husband while she was masturbating. She finally expresses her desires, and the couple makes up for lost time, on a steamy weekend at home.

    I enjoyed how real Polly and Lucan are. They are both shy in the bedroom, embarrassed by their desires, and not sure how their partner will react. They start communicating, and it unlocks a whole other level of intimacy.

    I was worried that Hero High might have put me into a book coma (that's 10 times worse than a book hangover), but X-Rated sure pulled me back to reality. This novella was absolutely fantastic.

    So as you may already know, I am a huge fan of second chance romances. There is just something that makes me warm and fuzzy when I read about a couple coming back together, again. And if you can't tell: Yes, I am Team-Steve on Fuller House! *grins*

    But what I haven't read a lot of is books about already established couples who hit a rut and need a boost in their love life. As a married woman, I have experienced this, myself. Sometimes, you just get so busy in your lives that your priorities shift away from your spouse and you have to find a way back to each other. This novella is one of those stories.

    Polly is a woman with a secret. For a while now, she has been sneaking home from work and taking care of her sensual needs on her own. Her husband isn't aware of how unsatisfied she has become with their once-a-week, mundane love making. But he's about to find out...

    Lucan has no idea what he's about to walk in on after returning home one day. And after the shock of finding his wife in a rather delicate disposition wears off, he is determined to give Polly everything that she has craved from their relationship. But once the box has been opened, Lucan finds himself just as excited about the turn of naughty events.

    This book was a fun and fast-paced read. We get straight into the action and the dual-POV gives both sides of the story. There is a good balance between sex and romance and I found myself rooting for the couple from the very first page.

    In closing...
    I will certainly be reading more from this author! Five sexy suns!

    This book was a great quick read. Its shows that even being married for 8 years doesnt mean you cant change what needs to be changed to essentially fall in love with your spouse again.

    Oh my badness! I adore this very steamy short story. I laughed, I cried, I splooshed. Since the main characters are already married, this story is light on the romance. It could be considered a second chance romance. I enjoyed the low drama: Polly and Lucan concentrate on each other with only a little distraction. The biggest issue they have is a lack of communication, but that is resolved quickly.

    It's always a fun time when I read one of Lily Harlem's short erotica stories. This is one of my favorites.

    Some typos, but nothing too distracting. One was funny: A "decedent" bouquet of flowers. I mean, technically, they are dead, but I'm pretty sure the word should be "decadent."
