A Most Delightful Christmas Kindle Edition
Miss Frederica Halston and her sister Lucy are not impressed by their papa's having bid for the earl. When they are invited to the house party they are reluctant to go. However, as dutiful daughters they obey their parents but decide to behave abominably so Lord Finchley will take an instant dislike to them.
It is Richard Finchley who they anger and they are forced to flee his house in a blizzard. Will Richard realise the girl he has come to love has gone? Will Freddie put her prejudices aside and accept his proposal?

- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2017I enjoyed this Christmas Romance. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I gave it a 4.5* rating. It was interesting and funny with a few twists and turns in it. It made a nice holiday read. Talk about getting stranded in snow. What if you do not have snow plows like we do today. I could have read a little more.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2017I enjoyed the beginning and middle of this book. But the ending - have you ever read a book where the ending leaves you up in the air? This book did that to me. So many of the characters' story lines were left hanging. Perhaps it is meant to be the beginning of a series?? I did like the story but really felt that the ending was too abrupt almost as if the books was to be a certain number of pages and when that number was reached - the end. This was my first book by Fenella J Miller and I will probably purchase at least one more to see if the abrupt ending is her writing style.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2017I enjoyed this book. It was well-written with almost no errors, and the plot was well-thought out and written. One of those I didn't want to lay down until I'd finished it. The characters were funny and believable. I think my favorite part was when the earl's mother threw over her host. Nice twist in the plot. Just imagine having not one or two unexpected guests for a snowed-in Christmas holiday season, but seven, one of whom sustained a broken leg when the carriage wrecked...oh, and there is no doctor in the house. Fortunately the eldest daughter of the house was trained in healing. Great story...Thanks for a good read!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2019I really enjoyed this book, it was funny and kept you guessing. The other characters only added to the fun and surprise.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018Was on its way to a higher rating, but the ending was a bit abrupt. The story just kind of fell apart and stopped.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018A rather enjoyable, clean regency romance. Hopefully she will write more about some of the other characters other than our main couple

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute pleasure to read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The pompous Earl who everyone put in his place, got more than he bargained for when the Colonels daughter refused to show him the respect he thought he deserved, whereas she believed he needed to earn her respect and had done nothing but insult her from the start. When these two families are thrown together after an accident connections are formed that will cause tension among the whole house. A great read I couldn’t put down

5.0 out of 5 stars A most delightful Christmas story.
This was a most delightful book. With lots of ups and downs in the storyline. The only part that let me down a little was the ending. I was expecting more of the story. I wanted to know what happened to his mother , did Freddie get her own way for her wedding etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another enjoyable read.
I really enjoy books by Fenella J Miller, and this one is just as good. As usual her heroine is quite feisty and intelligent and the hero is usually straight laced and 'top lofty'.
This is an easy read and gentle story that is well written, and I look forward to the next one
