About the author

Annabelle Jacobs lives in the South West of England with her three rowdy children, three cats, and a very naughty black labrador.
An avid reader of fantasy herself for many years, Annabelle now spends her days writing her own stories. They're usually either fantasy or paranormal fiction, because she loves building worlds filled with magical creatures, and creating stories full of action and adventure. Her characters may have a tough time of it--fighting enemies and adversity--but they always find love in the end.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2019First off, the title is very apt as this book contains LOTS of both. Can I just say I LOVE Harry... Andrew is a close second, but Harry is the man! Ms. Jacobs did such a wonderful job on this book. When an author really hits the bullseye with me with their story and also the language they use to tell it, I end up going nuts with my highlighting. Thirty highlights in the text this time, which is close to being a record number for me, so yeah she struck a chord with this book. I can honestly say I laughed as much as I cried while reading this book, the author's use of humor was masterful. She also did an incredible job of surrounding the two main characters with an awesome supporting cast. She hooked me in the first chapter and after that I could not stop reading till the very end! This is one holiday read that I will be reading again year after year!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2021This is wonderful holiday story with just a bit of magic. Harry can't seem to control his mouth but he gets some magical help and it makes all the difference. Andrew and Harry connect pretty quickly to make a very special Christmas.

Very cute holiday story with cute idiots in love.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2023Harry and Andrew were adorable! When a hike puts you in the path of a witch, what could possibly happen? I loved reading this story so much! A fun Christmas romp that I’ll read again. Highly recommended
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2018This is a good Christmas short story with a couple of adorable, if bumbling characters who get a bit of a magical boost to their relationship from a forest fairy. No great stress or angst fueled moments, just a pleasant holiday read.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2015Talk about the magic of the holiday. I already love Christmastime and all the glory and magic of the season but if I didn't this is the story that would make me believe. Another new author for me and I can't wait to check out her other work in the new year.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2015Such a cute Christmas story!
Andrew and Harry live in the same building, both are interested but every time they see each other Harry suffers from a case of nerves leaving Andrew thinking he's a huge jerk.
A little magic intervention is needed if these two are ever going to get together. While hiking in the woods with his friends, Harry stumbles upon Melia a witch that places a spell on him to keep him from blurting out the first thing that comes to mind when he sees Andrew. Melia knows the two would hit it off if Harry could keep his foot out of his mouth long enough to have a real conversation. Once Harry realizes her spell is working he can relax and enjoy getting to know Andrew.
With help from Harry's friends and awkward first kiss turns into a hot and steamy "do over first kiss." With Andrew and Harry spending more time together Andrew has to find the nerve to ask Harry to spend Christmas with him.
I really enjoyed this story. It was a quick read, but well written and very entertaining!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2015I'm a Christmas fanatic as well as lover of romance and paranormal. This book pulled at my heart and I smiled so many times reading it. Well written love story. I could see so much of myself in both Andrew and Harry. Please continue their story!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A flawless Christmas treat.
I was a little bit worried about magic in an otherwise modern day story but I needn't have been as it was so well done I could actually imagine this happening, which may say something about my imagination, but anyway.
Harry and Andrew are so believable, and the whole thing is the perfect Christmas treat. Absolutely loved this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice.
I'm a sucker for Christmas stories and I really enjoyed this one. There's Christmas magic and a little actual magic at work to get our two MCs together. Harry in particular is adorable, he and Andrew are so well matched when they finally get together. A cute story, worth a read.
