    This is Book #2 in this THE FOUNDLING TRILOGY. Diego and Alec are still trying to solve the secrets of Alec's past. Sasha returns seeking refuge. WENDY RATHBONE wrote beautiful poetic scenes of the life and love Diego and Alec found together. Yes, real life was beating down the door. This book has an exceptional happily ever after. I loved and appreciated how MAGNIFICENTLY this is written. Beautiful characters, with dangerous pasts and new love on the horizon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THE FOUNDLING TRILOGY!!!!!!

    Sacrifice Me is the second book in The Foundling Trilogy by Wendy Rathbone. You must read these books in order since it's a continuation story. This picks up where book one left off and I enjoyed this continuation of Diego and Alec's story. With even more suspense that keeps you glued to the pages, drama/angst, action and steam, this book is entertaining and interesting. It's well written, with well developed characters with flaws and personalities and chemistry together. I cant wait for the next installment of story and see what happens next.

    I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

    This is the sequel (Book 2) to Rescue Me, the first book in this series. Unlike Book 1, in which the romance took over the story and kept the action in the background, this sequel puts the action front and center, and it pulls you into the suspense, followed by all the action and turmoil. You won't know who's a friend and who's a foe until the very end. Although this book has a good ending, there are a few loose threads at the end, and the author has written a third book continuing the saga. I can't wait to start reading it.

    I loved the continued journey with Diego and Alec. In this book the suspense is kicked up a notch. That had me on the edge of my seat rooting for the MCs too pull through and be strong together. Especially with the twist of a blast from the past in the form of an ex.

    The second book in the series continues the excellent developed characters and the catching plot from book one.

    This is not a standalone and the books should definitely be read in order.

    Splitting a story into parts can be a tricky thing, as you have to choose the right cliffhangers and twists to keep it interesting. If you struggle with it... go to Wendy for advice, cause she’s got it down to an artform.
    The book is a brilliant continuation of part one with all the right tricks, narration and emotions!

    Book 2 - you must read book 1... and book 3. MUST.
    The beauty, suspense, danger, and passion that is Diego & Alec's world goes up a notch this time around.
    Like book 1, the story is told from Diego's POV. I typically prefer dual POV, but I can say emphatically that I was well content despite my usual preference.
    Also like book 1, this is poetry. Truly, the five senses are brought to life and fed fully.
    I can't recommend this book and series enough. Get it - you won't be sorry.
