About the author

Sundari Venkatraman is an Indie Author who has 68 books to her credit. These books have consistently featured in the Top 100 Bestseller Lists on Amazon India, Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada and Amazon Australia in both romance as well as Asian Drama categories. Her latest hot romances have all been on #1 Bestseller slot in Amazon India for over a month.
These days, the author is independently publishing her novels in paperback format under her banner Flaming Sun, printed and distributed by Notion Press.
Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles.
Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years.
Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back.

This may well be a common Review of all the tripe that Ms.Venkataraman churns out with such regularity. Strength to her Bank Balance! I read her books because I get to read them for almost free on Kindle Unlimited (Sorry, Ms.Venkataraman, I do not contribute much to your overburdened Bank Balance). If the Reader has nothing better to do with his time, and doesn’t spend any money, like Kindle Unlimited, he can read Ms.Venkataraman’s mildly pornographic output, because she writes well and her stories move. I cannot imagine such conversations as she writes of are real life stuff. Good for secretly sex starved Indian women!
I am glad that this series is over partly as I can jump to the next 2 series Sundari has been penning and partly because I always want more of the stories instead of Novellas.
But cant deny I loved this series too. Who wouldn't with such drool worthy Maheshwari brothers as leads ;)
The concept of 'Do what you Love and the rest will follow' is followed in the story to the T.
I loved the way Sundari has weaved the story around it. She has also proven its not impossible to follow your heart through the story and in her own life.
The characters and their emotions are Sundari's forte and she proves it again effortlessly in this one.
The story moves smoothly. Amazed at Sundari's research of Australia, bar tending skills, farming, dancing, .. etc.
Thums up to Avi for chasing the man she loves instead of pinning for him. Talk of a head strong woman.
Shatrughan is an adventurer and wanders all over the globe. He doesn't want to be tied down to one place. Avantika, attracted to the dragon tattoo-sporting hunk, follows him from Jaipur to Melbourne. She was sure that she would be able to win him over. Though he tries very hard to keep her at a distance but something in her urges him to mend his bohemian ways!
Ms. Venkatraman, yet again comes up with a sensuous yet emotional page-turner. It sure rings the right chord with the reader.
Amazing series of romance! Do read folks!!

The story revolves around main characters Shatrughan and Avantika. Shatrughan is so passionate about traveling and visiting new places that he has started to work since he was eighteen to start his dream. He can't think about settling in one place and living normal ordinary life. And then he meets Avantika at her twin brother's wedding. He started liking her but he knew that he is not able to give any girl that stable life so he doesn't think about it more.
But Avantika also liked him so she created her way to reach to him all the way to Melbourne. They met there like friends and started feeling their love but Shatrughan was not ready to commit. And Avantika's reply was killing. She said, but I don't want you to make me happy, I am happy by myself. And they carried on with their lives.
Will Shatrughan realise his love? Will they be together? And most importantly, the typical Indian parents of a girl would agree to marry her daughter to a Bohemian boy? Well, grab this book to get to know.
I enjoyed the story thoroughly. I finished it in just few hours. The characters were strongly developed. I loved Avantika's character who is independent and she doesn't need a boy to complete her. She can live happily with his memories. And she isn't shy to confess her feelings. Wow!
The writing style is interesting. It will keep the reader hooked. The language is lucid. If you are a romance reader, you just can't miss this book!
Content warning: Steamy romance scenes 🔥

The story revolves around our two main protagonist Shatrughan, the youngest Maheshwari Scion who believes in living life to the fullest. In his quest to travel the world, he leads a bohemian life something our city doesn't approve in long run. bohemian is a person who is interested in art, music and lives in a very informal way, ignoring the usually accepted ways of behaving. Avanthika Kamat, a brilliant dancer and choreographer, making the name for herself in bollywood and around the world. She is a girl who goes for what she wants. When fate brings them together at his brother and her friend's wedding, they instantly felt attracted to each other but with life Shatrughan is living coupled with commitment issue, he represses his feelings but Avanthika wasn't leaving everything to fate again. Will they ever meet again? Will they fall in love? Will Shatrughan have to leave his way of life? Will their family accepts this eccentric kind of life for their children?
It's a cute, lovable and steamy short romance story. I like how author has written the Shatrughan character. He is very likeable yet very mature in his approach. Author has also shed light on the difference between a conservative family and a family who understands. How parents don't approve and doesn't take a girl ambitions and her career seriously. I really enjoyed the bond between Avanthika and her brother and how he understand her and try to bridge the gap between his parents and her.
I would have loved to know a little bit more about Avanthika and her journey to a brilliant dancer. The story did felt a little short and some characters were under defined in the storyline. I really enjoyed the love and passion between Avanthika and Shatrughan and how they understood each other and at times different situations they were in. Love, romance, family drama, passion and some sensuous scene makes this short book a perfect pick up on a lazy day.

Also, the blurb of the story waz amazing and pulled me more towards the book.
Did I liked this book?
Yes....I loved this one!I guess its the fastest story on kindle which I read. The book is a page-turner and I completed it in 3 sittings.
The character development by the author is very great.I loved the variety of the characters.
The open kindness of Shatrughan's family was also liked by me.
Both the characters were free and had their own mind which I liked too.
The language in the book is good. The author has done a very beautiful job in writing the erotica and romance.I loved this part of the book too.
The character of Shatrughan was very good.I like him!
Also, one main thing which I loved about this book and the mind of the author is-Shatrughan always asked for a permission before doing anything with Avantika. It kind of gave me a good feeling as it was the first time I was reading this thing.(No offence but there would be romance but tjis was the first time male character was asking for a permission)
The language is also good.
If you are someone who reads the book with an open mind then surely go for it.

Author: Sundari Venkatraman
Review : The book is of contemporary romance genre.
In the book our protagonist Shatrughan, who is an avid traveller falls in love with our female protagonist Avantika Kamath, in a wedding.
They are poles apart one who has her roots down and is settled whilst the other can’t stay in a place for more than a few weeks.
The story highlights a spectre of human interaction and emotions , how everything is not as easy as it seems.
The ups and downs of life have been highlighted pretty well.
Language is lucid and engaging although the plot is predictable the storyline never dips.
If you like romance but with a hint of realism you could give this book a read.
3.5/5

But what if these stories had our Indian flavour, the desi versions. That's what is done by our writer Sundari Venkatraman.
From being riddled with insecurities and self-doubt to exploring her individuality through story-telling, and from being enslaved to a 9-5 job to being her own boss, Sundari has come a long way. She has floored critics and fans alike.
I recently came accross one of her books, "Her Bohemian Husband"
With all the challenges we face in life, the reality of the mean and cruel world outside, I would always love to pick a book which takes me to a beautiful ride of the perfect lovely world.
This book narrates the story of two independent strong characters who fall in love with each other at first sight. The guy, tamed with the power of love, is a wanderlust. And the other, an independent hard working woman, grounded and lively.
Every love story gets struck at parents. And that's when Vidyut, her brother, comes in. A strong supporting character which helps his sister's love story and manages the parents angle as well.
The tips and turns of their life, the questions in their perspective of life, and the end, everything about this book is so heart warming.
