One More Chapter Kindle Edition

He's an unlikely hero for any story, least of all hers. But this tatted single dad just might have a broken heart of gold beneath all his rough and ragged edges waiting for her to piece it back together.

Books have always been a welcome escape for Karma. A career editing romance novels just makes sense for the girl who craves love and fantasy and a world she can exercise a little control over. Bottom line, she likes a happy ending she can count on, and reality never seems to deliver.

Then there’s Jensen.

Where Karma prefers to have her head in the clouds, unattached to the tumultuous roller-coaster of real life, Jensen seems to permanently walk around with a grey cloud over his head, a dark, rumbling thunder following wherever he goes.

And who could blame him? After losing his wife, it’s all he can do to put one foot in front of the other to maintain a world his kids can still depend on. Bottom line, he’s done with happy endings, he’s just trying to survive the now.

Until Karma.

When their paths cross, the connection is undeniable. For the first time in a long while, both think they may still have a shot at the future. What they don’t expect is to revisit the past. Old heartaches start to unravel and what both believed to be loose ends turn out to be entangled in ways neither could have imagined.

Now there’s no escaping reality and little hope for happy ever after. But maybe all their story really needs is
one more chapter.

Mommy of one.

Drinker of #coffee (lots and lots of coffee).

#Writer of #bookboyfriends and #happyeverafters.

The stereotypical writer through and through, I find hiding out alone in my office, cut off from society where I can pursue my obsessive compulsions in peace & carry on uninterrupted conversations with my imaginary friends while I sip coffee, to be all the rage.

I like people too.

The real ones.

But I'm shy and often awkward, so I don't show it well.

If we meet - please don't hold this against me.

These days, life is a solid stream of awesome craziness compliments of my kid. When we're not giggling ourselves to sleep or having a sing off about Parmesan cheese, we're likely binge watching Once Upon a Time and arguing about who was better for Emma Swan - Neal or Hook. It's clearly Hook. Besides. Neal is dead. So I win.

There. That covers the basics.

Oh - also:

Internet people-ling is my favorite - let's be social!

Such an amazing story. Well written. Great plot. Great character development. Beautiful story. It's a romance with realness to it. It's not one of those fairytale romances, with no realness or truth. These characters are real and relatable, even if you've never experienced the same things, you still get a feel for where they're coming from. It's beautifully written. Great depth. A definite must read.

This is the second book I've read by K.S. Thomas and now I want to grab all of her books and binge. She writes such in depth characters that I feel like I really know them. All of the side characters were great too and I hope to see them in future books.

One More Chapter had me laughing and crying. Karma had some serious issues and Jensen didn't exactly have it all together either. At times I wondered how it was going to work. The author really threw me for a loop at the end!

This is a story about karma, Karma and Jensen. What a wonderful love story! I laughed and cried, all the while hoping that everything would work out. It was so easy to lose myself in this book. I devoured it in one sitting. These characters will stay with you long after you turn the last page!

KS Thomas never fails to suck me in with her plots and characters! I definitely always wish for "one more chapter" when I get to the end of one of her books!

One More Chapter by K.S. Thomas is the first book that I have read by this author. I was not sure what to expect as you just never know with a "new to you" author. I was quite impressed with her writing style and the way she was able to weave an enjoyable romance story together. The characters have depth and history which makes the telling of their relationship interesting and more believable, as we all bring "stuff" into relationships that has to be sorted out. Additionally the secondary characters were fun and added a lot to the story-line and flushing things out.
Be warned that if you don't like some "adult" language mixed in with your romance then you may not like One More Chapter quite as much. But if you can deal with all the emotions and complicated relationships then you will have a great reading experience.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

The book is a good romance read. The story has a good story line, and the story is a well written read. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable romance read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Karma Gracey has not had an easy go of life. She loves her job as an editor and doesn't get out much and definitely has no plans for romance. She sometimes is forced to go out with her best friend Layne Larson, a romance writer, but she enjoys her reclusive lifestyle until she meets him.

Jenson Wade is doing the best he can surviving and raising his two kids. He has no plans on moving on from his past until a chance meeting with Karma turns his life upside down. Yet she is the sister of a friend of his, Dallas, who wants Jenson to stay as far away from Karma as possible. Yet he can't do that.

Will Karma and Jenson be able to help each other recover from difficult pasts and find a future together or will the ghosts of the past overtake any chance of happiness for the future?

K.S. Thomas is one of those authors who make me giddy just by knowing that I have a book in my tbr pile. Her writing just blows me away and is just filled with so much honesty, pain and struggles that you feel like you are gasping for air and then at other times she has you laughing so hard at the things she comes up with. This book is definitely worth the read.

When she writes about Jenson's children, Kenzie and Mason you can tell she is a mother who has been through some of these things. I love her describing Kenzie as Houdini and the whole sick episode made me laugh so much as I have been there.

But this book also has so many levels of pain and the things that Karma has gone through breaks your heart into a million pieces as she was never able to put everything back together properly.

This book is about hope and the power of love to heal what is broken.

    Absolutely incredible!
