    I've been working Sudoku puzzles for years and consider myself comfortably challenged in the medium range. This is definitely not a medium puzzle book. I tried working 4 puzzles and couldn't complete any of them.
    Also, 6 puzzles per page is fine, but the margins aren't wide enough. I like to fold the page between puzzles to allow myself to work them comfortably. I also make notes in the margins. I was unhappy with the margins also.

    I am a beginner to Sudoku, but doing ok with most 'medium'-rated puzzles. This book always has so many multiple choices for a number that it is not even enjoyable to work. I end up penciling in the places where the same number can go (in one square) and then go to the back of the book, and, look at the solutions, so I can choose a couple places where to mark the correct place. I have managed to complete on a couple puzzles without looking at the solution, even though I don't like doing that.

    I’ve been doing Sudoku puzzles for 30 years. My favorites are the samurai sudoku puzzles. I was disappointed when I got this book because I thought it was samurai sudoku but that’s on me when I opened the book, I tried to do all the puzzles on the front page without success. I truly think this is not a medium level puzzle book. Unfortunately I can’t return it because I tried to do all the puzzles on the first page. However, I was very disappointed.

    These puzzles are NOT medium. I do the NYT Sudoku every day and have no trouble with even the hard ones. I can't figure out why these don't fall into any pattern, as most do eventually. The books were a gift and we will have to get something else and give these away.
