Lilian Schmid is a dedicated Christian and an experienced global prayer leader and strategist. Her dedication to Christ Jesus has led her through a wide range of experiences and challenges, throughout which Lilian has kept her humble and confident faith in God’s total love, sovereignty, and grace. She knows her prayers are answered as she has seen God act in response every time, always for the best, and often in unexpected ways.
Lilian comes from a business management and human resources background. She was a supervisor in the payroll section, and a member of the management team at the Sydney Institute of Technology. She has also gained qualifications in theology and church history which gave her an understanding on how to engage with leadership at all levels of church denominations.
Driven by her passion to see Christ glorified through His people, Lilian has engaged with church and marketplace leaders, and Christians from prayer movements, encouraging them in witness, evangelization, and prayer.
Lilian is also experienced in inner-healing, deliverance, and spiritual warfare for individuals, business organizations, and city transformation. She often gives consultations one-on-one to assist people with their discipleship and healing journey, and she has provided training on intercessory prayer mapping and research.
Over the years Lilian has founded a number of ministry initiatives including the Business Women Healing Ministry, Transforming Sydney, Proclaiming Pentecost, and the Prayer Strategy for the Spheres of Influence. She has also authored spiritual papers and guides for Christians and Christian ministries, which she distributes freely, and some of which have been adopted by local and international leaders and organizations.
Lilian is married to Bjorn Schmid – her life and ministry partner, they have one adult son and live in the Hunter Valley in NSW, Australia.
