A squad of spice zombies must use their immunity to the pandemic that's turning everyone into real zombies, to save the last of humanity. Simon carr is, well he is me, hello, I write utter nonsense and you are a disgrace for reading it, the hell is wrong with you?

but since you are here we might as well revel in the soup of irrational absurdity together because it is_________somthing to do!

I could tell you where I come from and where I live but how the hell do I know you are not some kind of psychopath!?

I think any writer who has ever read Misery should just avoid that poison apple myself, all you need to know is I am English and support Blackburn Rovers (BLAST!)

That does not mean I live in Blackburn; ok, I live in Blackburn but it's a big place, you will never find me, you weirdo!

I like knitting, collecting empty beer cans, and slapping dead birds just to make sure, I hope for world peace and an end to climate change, gender representative jelly babies, and fat people to get skinny really easily using just a DVD.

    Format: Audible Audiobook
Simon Carr has written about a group of people, hooked on a drug called spice, which caused them to be immune to a virus that was turning people into zombies. I was entertained by this story, although the humor was sometimes over the top causing me to ask myself, "What the heck?", but also causing me to chuckle. Underneath the outrageous humor, there was a story about what family means and how unusual circumstances can bring out the best or the worst in people. Matt Taylor's narration was great, and his use of various voices added entertainment to the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Absolutely freaky and terrifying... In other words I loved it!

I'm a big fan of the lunacy that springs from the pen of Simon Carr but this one isn't one of his best offerings. Saying that, it still scores a solid 3 stars and is peppered with the laugh out loud society observations and witty conversations that are a mainstay of his work.

Simon's book are best read when you are alone - it stops all the stares and tutting

Silly Brit wit that seems a tangle of b-movies or television shows. I did enjoy the different types of zombies and it did have proper zombies in the story so keep reading past the first descriptors. It had a few misspelled words and two sentences that, as an American, I couldn't seem to understand.

Terrible grammatical errors and one of the dumbest story lines I have ever tried to read because I couldn’t even finish it, it was so bad. Sorry Mr Carr but your writing is just not my cup of tea.

Wayyyy too many f-bombs and grammatical errors that detracted from an otherwise fun and fresh tale

I tried to get through this book no problem. BUT..... the format could be much better. Plus when there was spacing between the words sometimes it would be too many spaces. Saying the F word is not bad in books. I have seen it in other books. It would have made it worth the read.

i thought the very least this would be funny, but honestly it wasnt even that. there was so many grammatical errors i had to force myself just to continue reading. errors alone. if the writing was at least half way interesting i could have over looked a lot of that but no. the formatting was all over the place and i had a hard time following at times. theoretically this could have been good but i couldnt even finish it.

When the zombie apocalypse arrives the only ones immune are the spice zombies. Can a band of homeless drug users save humanity?
Although there were a number of spelling and grammatical errors the storyline was interesting. The characters also showed growth throughout the story.
This book is a different take on the zombie problem . I enjoyed it very much and will look for more by this author. I received an ARC copy and this is my freely given and honest review

    Overall score:
    I scored this book 3/5
    ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
    Short Summary of the book:
This is an alternative zombie story. The concept is quite interesting and enjoyable. A virus plays havoc on the population turning everyone into zombies. The only people immune to the virus are the spice zombies. They are also overlooked by those who turned into zombies. Add some zombie animals and a tyrannical general and suddenly the spice zombies turn into the heroes.
What I liked about the book:
    I enjoyed the entire book
What I didn’t like about the book:
Unfortunately, the book requires some further editing.
My favourite bits in the book:
The alternative hero scenes. Who could have thought those outcast by society would be the saviours of the world?
My least favourite bits in the book:
I believe the author is still developing in his writing. All I can say is to keep writing and your work will improve further. The idea was great and novel.
Any further books in the series? Any more planned by this author?
This appears to be the second book by this author.
What books could this be compared to and why?
This book is novel as it combines spice zombies with real zombies and puts the unlikely in the hero role.
    Recommendation:
In summary, I would recommend this book for the following readers:

    Children No
    Young Adult Yes
    Adult Yes

If you like zombie stories with a twist, this book may be the book for you.
