A Game-Changer!

A Game-Changer!
So many people struggle with ADHD. The resources are overwhelming, but this author gets it—his book is practical, engaging, and actionable! I love how he states how procrastination “is not a failure of character. It’s not laziness. It’s not lack of willpower. It’s the experience of living with ADHD.” Chapter 3 breaks down the 5-minute procrastination reset. It simplifies the process into something doable. Chapter 8 talks about the power of micro-actions. It’s brilliant. This is what will help me the most! It gets me excited to tackle something and be successful! I have a project I’ve been putting off for a month. Last night, employing his technique, I dove in and made significant progress! The satisfaction I feel is tremendous! His reward system outlined in Chapter 11 is a gem too! The 5-step reset method is simple, doable, and tailor-made for the way ADHD brains function. The micro-start prompts and 2-minute focus scripts are helpful for anyone. I do not have ADHD, although I can procrastinate with the best of them! I found lots of helpful tools and prompts I will utilize. What I love most? His approach is encouraging, and affirming. He even discusses setbacks, which are inevitable for everyone. It’s not the end of the road—not meant us to spiral downward. He says, “Stop the spiral!” Love that! And we stop the spiral with a “self-compassion reset.” And he explains how to do that. If you struggle with procrastination, overthinking, or starting anything, this book is the reset you’ve been waiting for. It's practical, research-backed, and surprisingly fun. This book outlines a great method that works with our brains instead of against them. Highly recommend!

So many people, including myself, needed to hear this message. Scott breaks down why we think the way we do, and gives us super practical, actionable plans to keep moving forward in a world of distraction. I've already put much of the information in this book to good use, and the changes in my life have been profound. Living in a busy world with ADHD isn't always easy, but this guide was able to give me the direction and focus needed to get those big goals started and done!!

Great chapters with steps to follow. I purchased audiobook and Kindle version. The reason I purchased Kindle as well is due not taking any notes just going to Kindle copying the same steps from the same chapters of Kindle and paste somewhere I can’t see them as shortcuts.

Audiobooks was excellent, which is not too long or too short. There are 32 chapters so they are not long asand clearly well organized.
I don’t think I have ADHD, however, I am procrastinator basically, I overwhelm myself too many to do lists I end up finishing nothing properly. I have been doing that all my life. No time to put this book into practice.

I recommend highly the audiobook and Kindle versions for people who have ADHD , procrastinators etc.
    Good luck.
