Purchase options and add-ons
INTRODUCTION
This book has been designed to help create fairy and folklore stories for and by children. Every letter of the alphabet has a corresponding creature, location or item. This is supported by four questions that can be asked to the reader. This book encourages creative thinking, communication, visualisation and storytelling.
All ages three and upwards can use this, regardless of education level.
How to use this book
You can read through the alphabet or play the story game.
STORY GAME RULES
- Pick any word. The longer the word, the longer the story is created.
- Go to the letters of your chosen word, then turn to the page corresponding to that letter. Encourage your reader to make a story using the items, characters or locations. Use one or all questions to prompt ideas.
These stories can be told or written depending on the age playing.
Other uses
You can also use this book to help you memorise spelling by linking the story created back to the words.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring imagination
The Storymaster delivers once again.
This book is full of beautiful art work and fantastic questions designed to spark your imagination and help with creating your own stories.
I purchased this to help provide my children with some great inspiration on how to keep developing their writing. Within minutes of opening the brown smiley cardboard envelope my daughter had snatched the book and with her note book and pen in hand set about writing a story using her name to determine what letters to look at in the book to find what creatures or objects to write about. Using the questions associated with the letter to flesh out the characters, objects and places as well.
If you are looking for something a little different to get your kids away from their screens and start creating their own world's then this is a great purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice illustrations, shame about the misprints
Great illustrations, real shame about this misprinted / duplicated pages which spoils the feel of the book. Would send back but I would have to purchase new packaging as this came with other items purchased.
