    This compilation of books had the highest highs and the lowest lows for this family of wonderful characters! Roam and West, Violet and Logan, Eva and Will …. All of their lives and times made for an excellent story that I had to finish! I struggled with some of the low times, but that only makes sense!

    Really enjoyed this and would recommend it!

    This was my first experience with Kimberly Adams' work, and it was an emotional thrill ride. This omnibus contained all six books of "The Roam Series". I liked that the author told the same basic story, but from the different major characters' viewpoints, and still each story was different enough to have kept my interest throughout. Please note that there were some steamy descriptions, and also some violence. Kelli Tager's, Gregory Salinas', Jonathan Waters', and Michael Norman Johnson's narrations were fine. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

    Parents- R-X- This is really for adults only the language and sexual content throw this easily into the R range but be aware that **there’s violent sexual assaults, abuse and very descriptive cutting, alcohol plays a part in this as well
    Language- R- Quite a bit and heaviest on the f-bombs
    Violence- R- beside the normal to the genre you have very vivid reliving’s of characters deaths, very violent and repeated sexual assaults
    Sexual Content- R-X- this is a very heavy bodice ripper category- very detailed and many scenes throughout the series (starts in book 1)

    I’m really torn by this series…. I really loved the story line and concept but the content level really got to me. It’s a very addictive plot and a unique one that kept me longer then I would have normally as the f-bombs picked up and number of detailed bedroom scenes…. Then there’s a hostage part of the story where daily there’s detailed rape which leads to her “need” to cut herself and it’s described in a way that could be very destructive to young readers -the pain helped her from losing her mind… brought her back to reality… made her feel more like herself again.

    Outside of that you’re dealing with reincarnation, she’s17 and her reincarnated partner is her 27 year old teacher….. what else can you say but wow, probably shouldn’t be encouraging those fantasies. Ultimately, I could not finish this one (I got to the fourth book)… but seriously, if they cleaned up the language, sex (could be alluded to or door closed), get rid of or handle the cutting very differently, and made the age gap less disturbing than story would be really hard to tear yourself away from. I realize that sounds like a heavy rewrite and it would be. As it is now, it’s not a series that I can recommend, but I would love to see a clean version of this series.

    Narrators 3 stars: Good differentiations and voice fits the main character, the acting was ok and the overall speed was a bit slow but better at 1.35x speed.

    This is a great series. I was drawn in quickly and never got bored. great narration as well. I wish this could get turned into a TV series.
