Jacquie was born in West Yorkshire, England. She studied art and design and after qualifying began work as an interior designer, moving onto fine art restoration and animal portraiture before deciding to pursue her lifelong ambition to write. She now writes full time and shares her life with her partner of twenty-four years and a menagerie of rescue animals.

As a tea drinker, I really like books with tea drinkers in them…..especially when the author includes interesting tidbits of tea info, a cat named Earl Grey, charming characters, evil doers doing evil deeds, mysteries to solve, no graphic violence, No cliffhanger endings, and no sex. I can’t wait for the next book. So, curl up in a comfy chair with a cup of tea and enjoy the mystery.

    Modern cozy mystery novels are normally not my cup of tea but I simply can not put down this series! The characters at this point are well established and behave accordingly. It FEELS like a historical mystery and yet has the nuances that make a modern novel so popular. I can't wait to see what happens to Lily and her crew in the next book. I just know I will be ready to have some of that amazing tea and ready to see what sympathy Lilly provides.
