Dark, twisted and addicting
Filthy Jealous Heir is a perfect kickoff to a new series. Full of dirty secrets and filthy lies, betrayals, revenge and jealousy with a heaping dose of explosive chemistry, there is so much more simmering beneath the surface and I can't wait for the rest of Reese and Olivia's story! 5 stars and a lie

WOW! I Did I just die and go to dark romance heaven?!? Filthy Jealous Heir is pure depravity and debauchery in prose—the guiltiest of pleasures—and I devoured every bit. Oh my does this romance slay!!! It’s so hot, heady, and heart-pounding with all the hate-love vibes. I felt this romance’s electricity coursing through my veins, bating my breath, setting my body on fire, and sparking my soul to life. A paralyzing intensity that hit me like a shot of adrenaline everywhere.

I was so enamored with the Heirs, a crew of family and friends. I felt them and their story so much. And Reese? Oh my is he one complex alphahole who wrapped me around him the whole time reading … brave, bold, and a hidden heart of gold. Olivia is his perfect match: a strong and stunning heroine who gives as good as she gets. Reese and Olivia combust together … a fusion of fire and ice. A hero and heroine who each feel nothing, but when together, they feel and are everything.

You would not know that this author is actually a duo of two master storytellers, as the writing so seamless that it effortlessly flows across the pages, its passion pulling you in. Dare dials up the trifecta of romance tropes: stepbrother, enemies-to-lovers, and brother’s best friend. Filthy Jealous Heir is a wild ride with twists and turns and blazes and burns … a tantalizingly thrilling romance that’s the sweetest torture. I was bound to this book that bled into me. The perfect storm of dark and light ... fire and ice ... terror and tenderness ... sin and salvation. I couldn’t put this dark delight down.

The million-dollar question: Why does Reese hate Olivia and want to ruin her life?

Filthy Jealous Heir is a dark, angsty bully stepbrother book, and I couldn't put it down. I love the world Caitlyn created for this series; it's filled with plenty of secrets and mysteries I can't wait to uncover.

I loved Olivia; she was sassy and badass and didn't take any of Reese's crap, and I loved the sexual tension between them. They want to hate each other, but deep down, they can't wait to tear each other's clothes off.

After the cliffhanger, we are left with many questions; I cannot wait to read the next book.

I liked the characters Reese seems like a pain to me even if he is hurting. Olivia needs to kick him in the butt an stop letting him basically walk all over at points. Elliot Theo an Oakley are good side characters. I like Elliot more at the moment. Oakley is Olivia’s twin an they have a good relationship. I did like how the story developed throughout. I also like that it’s not a lot of “fun times” in this book sometimes you just need a break an this book gives it.

Don’t forget to also read the prequel to this duet as well.

The cliffhanger at the end has me dying to know what happened an if it’s from who I think it is.

Also I loved that the book is not in American slang but British I believe. Gives it a totally different feel for me an it was interesting to actually look up the words that I didn’t realize what they’re but I knew what the boot was :)

Also Olivia’s friend Charli is a hoot.

The heir chasers are snots especially Darcie she’s just yuck.

Abigail I feel like needs a friend an that friend should be Olivia.

All in all this book is absolutely recommended to anyone. Can’t wait to read book two soon.

Okay where do I start with this book? The heirs aren't what I really imagine this book to be. They are arrogant condescending and the storyline kind of keeps things out. The secrets that are hiding in this book are one thing but it kind of leaves you wondering what's going on what all the lies are and the secrets. Reese is the main male character and he is an heir which he's supposed to be you know top dog at this school. It's raining in English meaning except please overseas so it's not American so it's kind of hard to really understand a lot of the dialogue you really have to pay attention. There could be more to the story I think when Reese and Olivia banter back and forth it's the most exciting thing about the whole story. The whole air thing I think it's like a back drop to what the main focus is with this and honestly it's just a whole bunch of man whores. Hopefully part 2 is a lot better and things come to light and everything is unraveled or something I don't know it has to be better than this part one because as much as I really wanted to read it it just didn't do it for me.

Reese and Olivia are fire and ice. He wants to ruin her and she wants to avoid him. Neither want to give in and admit there's enough chemistry to burn their house down. It probably doesn't help that Reese is her twin brother's former best friend and he belongs to an elite club that rules the school. She wants to escape her brother's shadows and he wants to drag her into them. Olivia is sweet but sassy and sticks up for herself. Reese is a hurt boy trying to navigate live in pain. She wants to save him but he doesn't want to be saved. There's a good storyline and some yummy 18+ scenes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read

It was a good read. Dual point of view so it's not always one sided which I prefer. Reese has a chip on his shoulder and believes he was lied to about things we are not sure of yet. Olivia and her twin oakley are close and Reese was always right there with them. Ending tho? Cliff hanger alert. Well worth a read.

4.0 out of 5 stars cliffhanger not mentioned in book description
Reviewed in Australia on August 27, 2023
It took me a while to get invested in the story as I still don’t know exactly why the MMC made the decision that causes issues with the other heirs. The spicy scenes are hot AF and really draw you in. But the cliffhanger at the end really frustrates me as I refuse to buy books that have this. It’s not mentioned within the book description so I would suggest this be included. Not sure if I’ll read the others in the series in case it’s 6 books of cliffhangers until the 7th book (if that’s the end of the series)

4.0 out of 5 stars I love the Heirs 🤣

This is my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it. This is a bully/stepbrother/ best friend’s romance, and I’m a s*cker for a forbidden romance.
    I
    Between hate and love...

This book is full of 𝙳𝚁𝙰𝙼𝙰, and I mean 𝙳𝚁𝙰𝙼𝙰𝙰𝙰𝙰𝙰... I’m so here for it 😂

Reese is part of the Heirs, the elite of the school. Oakley (Olivia’s twin brother) and he have been friends for a long time. Before the summer, something happened that made him leave town and go with his dad.
When he’s back (not per choice), everything changes. He finds himself stuck in a house he doesn’t want to live in, with his best friend and Olivia as his new roommate, aka soon-to-be stepsiblings, and you bet none of them is happy about it after Reese left without a word to anyone.

Reese is complex, that’s a way to put it, and something happened that made him want to ruin Olivia and seek revenge. Actually, lots of people lied to him, and he doesn’t know how to deal with that, so Liv is the one to pay the price.
But the tension and the attraction between both of them 🔥

We don’t know in this book why he thinks that Liv lied to him (see my review of book 2), but he’s struggling to pass over that.

Liv is a strong FMC and doesn’t take his bullshit easily. I really like her character.

I really enjoyed the side characters, and I’m looking forward to read the next books.

Regarding the audiobook, I really enjoyed it. The Duet narration, god, I really love Duet narration 🤌🏼 The English accent narration chef 💋 I can’t say anything bad about this audiobook because 1) I’m a sucker for audiobooks, 2) the duet narration was really good.
